This week's episode is with Vanessa Cornell, who is the founder of Nushu, a community healing destination with online offerings, as well as in person gatherings in New York, as well as retreats. This whole platform was born out of Vanessa's own personal disconnection from herself after a lifetime of being a high achiever.
This was such an incredible conversation and I feel like a lot of her story resonated with my own. Those who could fall under the perfectionist or recovering perfectionist camp or have struggled with people pleasing will feel very seen and validated by Vanessa's work. In this episode, we get into the concept of having the capacity to hold two contradicting truths at the same time, unlearning perfectionism, the power of community and being witnessed, the gratitude trap and what that is, the privilege of being able to do the work and the responsibility that comes with it, and having patience with the process while allowing our bodies time to catch up with our minds. This was such an impactful conversation that I hope resonates with our community as much as it did with me.

This week I am joined by Scout Sobel, founder and CEO of Scout’s Agency, author, and co-host of the popular podcast Okay Sis. Scout’s Agency launched in February of 2019 and pioneered the concept of podcast touring with their formula for booking female entrepreneurs as guests on podcasts. This came after Scout recognized the power of podcasting as a long-form, intimate medium and marketing tool for founders to tell their stories and expand their businesses from her own experience hosting.
Scout also opens up about her bipolar diagnosis and how she has navigated through her early mental health struggles to now living in abundance and creating the life she always wanted. I am so grateful to her for her honesty and vulnerability throughout this empowering conversation, and I hope you too find valuable lessons in the wisdom provided through the lens of her experience. We go deep in this episode and discuss her mental health journey, her personal transformation progress and process, starting a successful business, marketing tips for podcasters, and how podcasting is an effective tool to grow your business.

This week's episode features a very special guest - Megan Maguire, my right hand for all things Nude Nation and beyond. Megan and I first met years ago when she was introduced as my boyfriend's sister, but since then our relationship has grown so much and she is truly one of the wisest and kindest people I know. Watching her personal growth over the years has been such a privilege, as has working together side by side to build Nude Nation and seeing her passion for the work that we do. Megan has such a keen eye for brand strategy and I'm constantly learning from her and the ideas she brings to the table - I feel so grateful for our working partnership and our connection built on a foundation of trust and love.
In this episode, we get into how Megan transitioned from fashion to PR and what led her to work with me at Nude Nation, how therapy helped her push through a difficult period of anxiety and burnout, lessons learned while navigating your twenties in a new city, pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, imposter syndrome, PR strategy, brand building, how brands can stand out in an ever-evolving space, and so much more. This conversation felt so organic and truly is a reflection of the nature of our relationship - please enjoy Megan's first (but certainly not last) sit down with me on the show.

This week we are welcoming back Julianne Fraser for her second appearance on the show. Julianne founded Dialogue as a digital brand marketing consultancy back in 2017 with a goal to amplify the stories of creative brands through influential voices. Her growing client roster has worked with brands like Seed, RE/Done, Ghia, Sakara Life, Brooklinen, and many more. Julianne's commitment to fostering meaningful relationships, creative and impactful campaigns for her clients, and developing authentic dialogues between brands and consumers has set her apart in the space and I'm so excited share this followup with you after our first convo back in 2021 - be sure to check that episode out as well if you haven't already.
We get into the state of influencer marketing, how to effectively measure success for influencer campaigns, the power of working with a business coach, dismantling your limiting beliefs, trusting your team, and the importance of taking time offline to nurture your curiosity and creativity. Whether you are working in digital or brand marketing, an influencer, entrepreneur/founder, or simply are curious to know more from a consumer perspective, there is something tangible here for everyone. As Julianne reminds us, we all have influence in all the different areas of our lives and can apply these principals to better understand our own impact.

This week's episode is with the one and only Lauren Roxburgh also known as Lo Rox - who people refer to as the body whisperer- she is a globally known bodyworker, fascia expert and movement educator whose healing techniques and thought leadership have been sought after by everyone from pro athletes like Lebron James to celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and her mission is to help us all tune in to the whispers of the body now so that we don't have to hear the screams later.
In this week's episode we get into all things fascia/the fascial system - what it is/what it does for us and why it has emerged as one of the most important and least understood systems of the body capturing the attention of the medical, wellness, scientific and mental health fields. we also get into all things body intelligence and how to silence the noise around us to actually listen to our body cues, ways we can proactively release stagnant energy in our body and make way for clear bodily communication, bodywork we can seek from healers and ways we can do bodywork on ourselves and so much more.
