I want to talk about an email I received from an unhappy C2F listener who didn’t like that we talked so much about macroeconomics and the effects.
Before I dive into the email and go over why macroeconomics are so important, I share why we here at Cashflow 2 Freedom are so passionate about creating cashflowing assets that allow us to live financially free. I’ve shared my backstory before here on the podcast, but I know we have a lot of new listeners jumping on all the time. If you know anything about me, having financial freedom and these cashflowing assets literally saved my life and my family’s lives.
That said, thank you for tuning in and being a part of Cashflow 2 Freedom. It makes me truly proud that you all are on the same path.
Now… on to business.
In this episode I go over the importance of macroeconomics and the truly massive impact that they can and do have on our economy and everything attached to it. Macroeconomics in short is how the government interacts with and affects the economy via monetary policy and other factors.
It’s important for us to know and understand factors like macroeconomics if we truly want to be financially free, and I’ll explain exactly why in this podcast.

The opportunities that come our way during downturns can be immeasurable. The current downturn we’re experiencing due to the Coronavirus is that time for opportunity.

Opportunity, however, doesn’t always present itself in the ways that we think it would. Being willing to identify these opportunities and also take action towards them can be the deciding factor between triumph and failure.

What’s going on everybody!? Welcome back to another episode of Cashflow 2 Freedom.
The saga continues with the very real threat we’re facing right now both physically and economically in the U.S. and around the world. Governments are shutting businesses down and it’s obviously having a massive impact on those businesses and the economy.
We’re going to cover these issues in this podcast. We’re going to talk about the real risks that we see in our businesses and the economy. We also get into numbers, what we’re currently experiencing in our online businesses and elsewhere. We want to give you everything we have, no sugar coating on anything.
We’re going to share what concerns us about this downturn and what the future may look like for all of us.
That said though, don’t fall victim to all the doom and gloom. AJ built his current empire from the ashes of the financial crisis of 2008 (and by “ashes”, yes, we mean opportunity).
There is still massive opportunity to take advantage of, which is what we’re going to top this episode off with. We cover personal finance opportunities that you can leverage now to set yourself up for success when the market rises. We also talk about the very real business opportunity there is and the strategies that you can implement in your own businesses to keep you thriving during and after market downturns.
Downturns will always be a part of our lives, we simply have to plan for them and be prepared for them when they happen. We want to be clear - we’re not talking about timing markets, we’re simply talking about hoping for the best, but planning for the worst.
No matter what, we just have to keep moving forward. We cannot become stagnant. We just have to continue to keep moving and adapting and overcoming.

As of today the Dow is down over 3,000 points and has become one of the worst drops in market history. The cause? No, not the coronavirus, but the way in which we the people are reacting to it. We need to understand, we alone can make or break a market.
The mass hysteria that we’ve seen across the U.S. is having a massive trickle down effect on the state of the market both here in the U.S. and globally.
This is the discussion we’re having today on Cashflow 2 Freedom.
What are we seeing in the market, what are we paying attention to? But more importantly what are we seeing and doing in our own businesses to not only limit our exposure to this downturn, but what we’re doing to take advantage of situations such as these to keep our businesses moving forward.

We also talk about the difference between this downturn and the 2008 financial crisis. These two situations are drastically different and we’ll explain why.

If you know us or have listened to this podcast for any amount of time at all, you know we love investing in real estate. What’s going on everybody!? AJ here with Cashflow2 Freedom. I’m really excited to get into today’s topic with you guys and to also have my trusty co-host Roc Pilon back in the house to help me cover this topic.
So many of us get into business with the idea that we’re going to start this business, launch this product, and so forth, and grow our company to replace our current income, or to grow it into an empire well beyond our current income.
But how do you get from A to Z?
And at what point do you formulate a plan to help you scale from $1 million in sales to $100 million?
And how do we break through those barriers we reach in our journey to scale? How do you make the leap from $1 million in sales to even $5 million in sales?
A lot of us start out with an idea of how we think this whole process will play out, and very few of us get it right the first time. It takes years of learning, usually via the school of hard knocks to finally figure it out. It takes systems, processes, and a well executed plan - all of which must be laid in the very foundations of your business from day one.
Roc and I cover all of this in today’s episode and help you figure out how to break through those barriers, how to scale, how to make your business more secure, reliable, profitable, and more importantly, how to get you working on the business and not in the business to help you get further down the path of financial freedom.

February 18, 2020 Antoine Martel | Creating Opportunity When There Was None
What’s going on my fellow Freedom Fighters!? I hope you’re all doing amazing and you’re out crushing things and making it happen.
Man, where do I even begin… This was such an amazing, value packed episode I don’t even know where to start.
First things first though, let me introduce you to Antoine Martel. A 24 year old real estate investor who before graduating high school, decided that real estate was going to be his wealth vehicle.
Living in LA however, Antoine soon found out that the LA area for a beginning real estate investor was far too competitive. He spent two years learning in LA and finally made the choice that investing in LA just wasn’t going to work. Which was when he set his eyes on investment opportunities out of state.
After speaking with other successful investors and learning about where and how they were investing, Antoine found out that his investment capital could go much further in markets across the country. Deciding this was the path to go, Antoine began collecting data on cities all across the U.S. and narrowed his aim on a select few cities to begin prospecting.
From there, Antoine goes on to talk about how he found his very first deal, how he built out a team to manage properties out of state, how he scaled his investments into a flipping/turnkey investment business, and how and why he made the leap to investing in apartment buildings.
This could not be a more perfect example of someone starting from ground zero and building out a real estate empire - an empire that allowed him the freedom and ability to recently retire his parents.
This is what Cashflow 2 Freedom is all about and couldn’t be more excited to share Antoine’s story with you guys.
