Andy's Girls: A Real Housewives Podcast

Sarah gets a visitor's pass to the Andy's Girls archives, and after getting past security (Sarah), play room (Sarah), and single's lounge (also Sarah), she stops by the gift shop and finds the perfect present - this never before heard AG kiki with the hosts of The Reality Is, Aarti and Noor. How well did their early summer predictions about New York, Beverly Hills, and Potomac stack up? It's a (Team) Crystal ball special ep!

Sarah frolics in her cloffice, yearning for a RHONY as splendid as her dress-and-shoe debt. The only thing that could make this moment greater? A watchable RHONY. And how about number two? An epic kiki with her fave Bravoholic writer (watch out Carole!), Jared Alexander (actor, writer for TheGrio). They unpack the possible spiritual connection between Ashley and Michael's marriage and Erika and Tom's mirage, how much of an influence Dorothy may have in Candiace and Karen's relationship (or lack thereof), and oh look, a bird (things more interesting than NY, ammiright). Sonja may be melting down in Salem, but this convo is hot, hot, hot - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 234!

Sarah Googles "Richards family reunions," curious to see which second cousin Kathy thinks of as her familial Hunky Dory. Deterred by the number of I Love Turtles shirts that show up instead, she calls up her spiritual relative, the Kim to her Kyle, and a shared lover of Kath - Damian Bellino (writer, producer, host of the podcast "You Might Know Her From, and OG of the AG). Apparently recording on Opposite Day, they share nice characteristics of their previous arch nemeses Richards sis, whether Karen and Gizelle are losing the smize behind their ongoing wink-and-a-smile battle royale (and why Potomac is perfection, regardless), and whether RHONY could reset with a full/majority cast reboot. Bethenny said this convo is so good, she's thinking of coming back - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 233!

Sarah shares her initial thoughts on the Potomac premiere, why Karen v Gizelle is a breath of fresh air, and how the focus on the cast's 'real' romantic relationships compare with RHONJ.

Deeply fulfilled after another perfect episode of Beverly Hills, Sarah awakes bright eyed and bushy tailed (Dear Hinge: bow-chicka-wow-wow), and immediately races to the People's People's Couch for a spiritual People's People's Court. She dials up the Hunky to her Dory, the Thoma to her Sina, and the official AG legal correspondent, Emily D. Baker (legal commentator, former prosecutor, and host of The Emily Show). They unpack Britney Spears' legal battle, and the freedoms Tom Girardi is afforded that she is not, a nuanced conversation around how one can empathize with Erika while still holding her to account, and why Sutton and Crystal's epic argument may stem from their opposing reactions to conflict. You'll never get to call Sarah's leather pants ugly, because this dame wears dresses instead - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 232!

Sarah thinks of her spiritual Housewives picks (Heather Gay, Shan for whom she will always stan)and realizes three's the charm/Curtin cuff. But who? Who? Flustered by a list of 100+ options - not nearly enough - she Zooms up the perfect guide for this quest: Jamie Stein ('Housewives empath,' and host of the podcast Deep Dive with Jamie Stein). They discuss the misconceptions associated with Monique's struggles on Potomac, "following the breadcrumbs" of Housewife energies, and Erika's spiritual imprisonment of disconnection. Ms. Jayne may sing about not giving many f**ks, but this convo certainly does - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 231!

Refreshed, renewed, and revitalized, Sarah once again opens the People's People's Couch for #ShotGirlSummer (upside: not near a highway like Bethenny's investment property). Schvitzing with joie de vivre and a lack of couch-side AC, she invites over one of her Bravoholic BFFs, and a fellow vaxxinista, Dylan Hafer (content manager, pop culture at Betches Media, host of the podcast Pop Alarm, and creator of @BravoByBetches). They discuss the question of audience intention on RHONY - is it the cast, or is it us - and the distortion that happens when OGs lose sense of the reality behind reality tv, why facts matter as much as intent and impact on BH, and the importance of understanding the nuances behind Crystal and Sutton's triggers/flaws. Kathy Hilton says Mazel Tov, and we all know what that means - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 230!

Nature is healing because the People's People's Couch is welcoming back some IRL guests! Sarah celebrates this momentous return to in-person AG kikis the best way she knows how: by continuing to wear pajamas well after the morning hours, and chatting with one of her fave Bravoholic BFFs and multi-hyphenates, James LaRosa (writer, producer, director, creator, showrunner, and Garcelle superstan). They unpack the lens through which women's vulnerabilities and complications can be weaponized on Housewives and in pop culture, why Erika's divorce narrative doesn't match with previous season receipts, and what Britney Spears may have in common with possible RHOBH contender, Nicolette Sheridan. The People's People's Couch loves a vaccinated duo almost as much as Sarah loves Kathy's quirks - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 229!

Upon learning the news that Kelly Dodd is retiring from Bravo in order to devote her life to charity work (being fired from OC really is such a mitzvah), Sarah celebrates the best way she knows how: a wide-ranging Bravoholics kiki with her fellow Doxxinista, Samantha Bush (staff writer at The Dipp, host of the pod "Hot Off the Mess," and Instagram's @BravoHistorian). They discuss what the OC reboot means for content creators, the impact of fame on the notorious housewife Second Season Curse, and what the Fox Force Five is getting wrong about...everything. Kelly and Braunwyn may be gone, but this ep has arrived right on time - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 228!

Sarah watches "The Housewife and the Hustler," a Hulu doc named in honor of Danielle and Dana/Pam's appearances as the official experts in crime. Sarah recuses herself from shit-talking the crypt keeper of Franklin Lakes (...in a minute), by talking with another star of the doc, Chris Murphy (staff writer at Vanity Fair, tastemaker of all things Bravo). They unpack the devastating consequences of Tom's alleged crimes, why the past is important in understanding Sutton v. Crystal, and why LuAnn, Mensa member and astrophysicist, may owe Ramona a fruit basket after the white fragility starring role is (reportedly) reversed in the next ep. Eboni K. Williams is a queen, and this convo is royal-tea - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 227!
