Phinsider Daily is a new spin-off of Phinsider Radio and now, we’ll be coming to you five days a week for all your Miami Dolphins information.

The flagship show of Matthew Cannata, Josh Houtz, and Aaron Sutton continues for its 4th season. In addition to that, Matt (Monday), A-A-Ron (Tuesday), and Josh (Wednesday) will bring their own 20-30 minute podcast to the world wide internet.

Without further ado, my (houtz) preview of the Dolphins Week 1 Matchup with Spencer Shultz (@Ravens4Dummies)

On today’s episode of Phinsider Daily, I sit down with Spencer Shultz of Baltimore Beatdown, Fansided, and Locked on Ravens to discuss the Dolphins Week 1 matchup vs Baltimore.

How can the Dolphins stop Baltimore’s duel-threat QB Lamar Jackson? Furthermore, which player on defense should Miami use to Spy the elite playmaker? I then find out which of Jackson’s arsenal of weapons could have the biggest impact in Sunday’s matchup.

We then turn to the defensive side of the football and talk about Miami’s current QB situation. Is #FitzMagic capable of upsetting the AFC North powerhouse? How will the Dolphins’ offensive line fair vs Baltimore’s elite pass rush?

Lastly, Spencer predicts the final score, and gives Dolphin fans his opinion on QB Josh Rosen.

All of this and much more, on this episode of Phinsider Daily.

On this edition of Phinsider Daily, Matt Cannata gives his random thoughts about the Dolphins moves the past few days. It's a stream of consciousness coming you way and nothing is off limits. What are the Dolphins doing? Do they have a plan? Sometimes, it feels like they don't. But if you take a step back and look at it from 30,000 feet, you can see how some of it begins to make sense.

Cannata also touches on the negativity surrounding the team, especially from some beat reporters. 8-8 is a nightmare scenario? Please. Rosen is a bust already? Please. Hear why he thinks all of that is nonsense and how everyone needs to do a little better when discussing this year's Dolphins team.

Finally, he takes a look at Sunday's game. Will it be a blowout? Probably not. Hear why he thinks the game is going to be a close one and how the Dolphins just might have a chance to upset the Ravens in Week 1.

This episode of your favorite Miami Dolphins podcast doesn’t require much explanation: Cannata, Houtz, and Sutton will look at the bevy of roster moves that occurred over the weekend. The trades of Kenny Stills, Laremy Tunsil, and Kiko Alonso, the roster cuts down to 53, and the turnover at the bottom of the roster will all come into play for this blitzkrieg episode of Phinsider Radio.

The Dolphins now occupy four 1st round picks and four 2nd round picks in the 2020 and 2021 NFL drafts — a ridiculous haul, and yet a roster completely devoid of talent at almost every level of the team minus Jerome Baker, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Xavien Howard. What’s the best approach to building the roster considering the Dolphins also have oodles of money to spend?

It’s been a whirlwind, but let’s take a breath and see where the Dolphins roster stands after the dust settles from this weekend’s Armageddon. The triumvirate will also discuss being in the crosshairs of Twitter ire, being at the heel of some smear campaigns on breaking the Laremy Tunsil news — we’ll talk about the true cost of delivering inside information to the masses.

Stay tuned for episodes of Phinsider Daily throughout the coming week leading up to Sunday’s contest vs. the Baltimore Ravens!

On this week’s episode of Phinsider Radio: Matthew Cannata (@CannataPFN), Aaron Sutton (@ASuttonPFN), and Houtz (@houtz) discuss the Miami Dolphins decision to name Ryan Fitzpatrick the starting quarterback. We also discuss the latest trade rumors regarding Texans pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney.  What would a deal look like?  And would it include elite LT Laremy Tunsil?  Cannata will tell you what he’s hearing from his three-eyed ravens and what a proposed trade might look like.

On today’s episode of Phinsider Daily, we address the Dolphins’ interest in Houston Texan’s pass-rusher, Jadeveon Clowney. What would it take for Miami to land the superstar defensive end? Could Laremy Tunsil be involved? (no) And what type of compensation would it cost?

We also look over the Dolphins’ 53-man roster, and try to figure out which players could be moved to land the play-maker. After Kenny Stills was held out of practice, could he be on the move? What about running back Kenyan Drake, who just shed his walking boot a few days ago? Albert Wilson? The list can go on and on.

Lastly, we discuss how Clowney will fit in Flores’ defense and what we can expect from the team in 2019 and beyond.

The trade winds are blowing hard in Miami.

On Friday evening, I (Matt Cannata) reported that the Miami Dolphins were making just about everyone on their team available and that Laremy Tunsil was included in that. On Saturday morning, Tony Pauline confirmed this. Then, all hell broke loose. What exactly went down? Why did we mention his name? And is the truth as black and white as it seems? I take you through my whirlwind weekend with a look behind the scenes of how this all went down.

I also give an update on Jadeveon Clowney. Hint: It's not looking good for Miami. Why? I get into this and more.

I also touch briefly on the trade rumors surrounding Kiko Alonso, Kenny Stills, and others on the team.

I’ll interview one of the sharpest minds on the Brian Flores defense: Inside the Pylon’s Mark Schofield. Call me old fashioned, but as NFL fans collectively catch their breath before the regular season, let’s take stock in the man the Dolphins hired and why.

~ How does the “front 6”, sometimes employing smaller players in “LB areas” of the field, function to be effective against the run?

~ How does Flores’ scheme use deception to create pressure?

~ How close is the Miami defense to having the personnel that Flores is used to working with?
