Have you ever wondered how your earliest influences in your upbringing may be influencing your relationships now? 

 

This week, we dive into attachment theory and explore the different attachment styles that we all develop from the earliest moments in our lives. Attachment theory is a psychological framework for understanding how we interact with other humans and develop connections with them. There are four main attachment styles that we’re looking into: Secure, Dismissive-avoidant, Anxious-preoccupied, Fearful-avoidant. We break down the basics of what they are and how they manifest in our intimate relationships. 

 

Hopefully, with a knowledge of these styles, we can use our awareness and desire for self-improvement to understand our relationships better and help them grow.
