This week, Eve Rodsky - author of domestic partnership bible, Fair Play - joins Catt in her bedroom for a pre-quarantine deep dive into sharing the workload at home.
Before getting into the details of her game-changing book, Eve opens up about her early life -- from being raised by a single mom in the Lower East Side of New York, to graduating from Harvard with a law degree and moving on to build an incredibly successful legal career.
But even with all these wins in her professional life, Eve's home dynamic was flailing. She realized there needed to be a dramatic change if her marriage was going to survive. So, after a life-changing "blueberry moment" (don't worry, she explains), she crowd-sourced hundreds of men and women about their division of labor and went to work building a roadmap for revival.
Also in this episode, Catt shares some insight on her Vanity Fair essay about related issues (if you haven't read it yet, go check it out)! https://www.vanityfair.com/style/2018/04/catt-sadler-mom-tax-equal-pay
**This week, we want to call your attention to the work being done by The Okra Project -- an amazing organization that works to have Black Trans chefs cooking healthy, delicious meals for Black Trans folks. You can find out more about them here: https://www.theokraproject.com/
Please check them out and donate in any amount if you can swing it!
