Karla Adkins is a Senior This Naked Mind Coach, wife, mother, dog-mom and she is also the face of the dark and dangerous side of drinking. In 2014, Karla found herself in the hospital fighting for her life as her liver was failing. Her drinking to quell her panic attacks had resulted in the terrifying diagnosis of cirrhosis. Karla discovered first hand the shame and stigma associated with this disease and is passionate about opening up the conversation between patient and provider. Her first book "And She Came Tumbling Down" is available for pre-order and will be released on September 7th.
