Prenups are a great way to be clear with your partner before making that solemn promise to one another especially if you or the other person has substantial assets prior to the marriage.

If you want to preserve a relationship with anyone, and have it move forward in a positive way…in a trustworthy way, the best way to do that is to have something in writing being clear what you expect from the other person. This written agreement should be seen as a representation of things you should be discussing.
