Namaste is a Sanskrit word, a traditional Indian greeting that literally translates to "I bow to you". Nowadays, it is often used at the end of yoga classes as a sign of gratitude or thanks. An honouring or respect for one another, and an acknowledgement that we are all one. "The divine light in me bows to the divine light within you."
I encourage you to contemplate this idea of oneness, with respect to your relationship to others. As mentioned in the last episode on 'Judgement', we often create a sense of separation from others (comparison, more than, less than, better than) ...when really, we are more the same than we are different.
In today's mindful meditation, I invite you to contemplate the idea of your own oneness ...your wholeness, versus separating from parts of yourself that you don't want to accept. Acknowledge all aspects of yourself, your shadows and your light, because they are all part of your soul. Honour the place in you where the entire universe resides.
