When I first heard the name of my fabulous guest this week's podcast, Lindsey Abernathy, I was confused. Bitch is a bad word? Is it? It can be a great and empowering word! Then Lindsey dove into where the title came from and the endearing and devastating story behind it and I got it, Lindsey took this story and her personal experience of surviving domestic abuse to the next level and now inspires Women everywhere that reclamation is possible and healing can happen.

On this episode, Lindsey shares how she learned to reclaim her voice after trauma, how she navigated co-parenting and parallel parenting after abuse, the power of community in healing, and how she found her way climbing out of financial abuse

As a devoted mother of four, a former actress, a creative director, and a passionate podcaster, she exemplifies strength and transformation, using her own experiences to empower others.


Having triumphed over domestic abuse, Lindsay is committed to raising awareness and providing support for those facing similar challenges. Her advocacy is deeply rooted in her personal journey, and she inspires many with her courage to speak out against domestic violence.

With a diverse background in the film and television industry, Lindsay has worked in various capacities, including as a stand-in for major feature films like Fast & Furious and The Odd Life of Timothy Green, as well as the hit TV series The Walking Dead.
