If you go without food for a period of time do your feel cranky or calm?
In this Bite Size edition from episode #16, exercise physiologist and fasting expert Paul Taylor covers the multitude of health benefits your body enjoys from fasting both long or short term. Paul gives us a crash course in biology and an understanding of how the body functions much better following a fast. Andrew and Paul also cover the benefits of waiting to start fasting when you are middle aged (or a little bot older) and how this impacts the way you look and feel.
Paul is a former British Royal Navy Aircrew Officer. He is a Neuroscientist, an Exercise Physiologist and a Nutritionist. Paul is completing a PHD in applied psychology to further understand the body and the brain.
