Bleav in Commanders

Anthony and Brian give their quick thoughts on the Commanders narrowing down their roster to 53 players. And then the conversation takes focus on the playmakers surrounding Jayden Daniels this season.

Plus,  Anthony points out that the WR position is now the second most important in the game.

8:30 - The Wide Receivers on this team might be worse, but the playmakers as a whole are better than this time last year.

11:48 - AAA tells us that the receiver position is now the second most imnportant position, especially after the deals for CeeDee Lamb, Brandon Aiyuk and potentially Ja'Marr Chase

16:00 - The Commanders have the cap space, will they add a wideout next year?

19:45 - Would you trade for Davante Adams if the opportunity arises?

There's one less Rivera-era draft pick on the current Commanders roster.  Jahan Dotson and a 5th Rd pick were traded to the division-rival Eagles for a 3rd and two 7th Rd selections in the 2025 Draft.

What does this mean for the WR #2 position and the final 53 as we head into cut day?

Special teams is most players way onto the 53-man roster.  If you're not starting, making an impact on a special teams unit can be the difference between playing ball on Sundays or watching from the house.  The NFL has adopted a new Dynamic Kickoff that has been under the microscope offer the first preseason games.

Anthony caught up with former NFL Special Teams coordinator John Bonamego to talk about how his thoughts on the new kickoff setup, why special teams coordinators get overlooked of HC positions, and what team he would want to join right now.

Washington's special teams unit ranked 30th on @RickGosselin9 2023 rankings.  Which player can help this unit improve and who will the kick returner be?

Let's get geared up for the Fantasy Football season with @ChadParsonsNFL

Which QB/WR stack is on your draft board?  Is it Jayden Daniels and Terry McClaurin?  Who would you rather have on your roster - Austin Ekeler or Brian Robinson Jr? And what rookie QB has the best chance to light it up this year in fantasy?

Does anyone have space for one more in their fantasy football league?

While we await Jayden Daniels' regular season debut, we're held over by press conferences, tweets from practice, and one series of preseason play that featured a beautiful rainbow down the right sideline to Dyami Brown.  From all accounts, JD is the truth.

@BlakeJRuffino joins Anthony Armstrong to learn more about the QB1 in burgundy and gold, what can Commanders fans expect from the new 5 in town, and maybe some Top Golf?

Washington's WR corp was missing two things: a consistent deep threat, and height.  With Dyami making an impact with his speed, and gaining the trust of Jayden Daniels, is he the big play guy for 2024? Martavis Bryant is back in the league after a 6-year hiatus bringing a 6'4 frame that will garner attention and targets.  With Bryant and the recent emergence of Brycen Tremayne, is the WR room getting a shake-up?

AAA shares his thoughts and reactions coming after the joint practice with the Jets.  Dyami Brown made one helluva catch from Jayden Daniels, OL faced a tough test, and some big plays were made against the defense.
