Often when people start to recover and let go of controlling food as a way to cope; alllll the underlying emotions emerge. It can be scary and uncomfortable. You might think you are doing something wrong because of how foreign it feels. That is not the case! Your emotions are real, valid, and a natural part of the human experience.
