Brock and Salk

We learn through Tom Pelissero that the Seahawks are set to interview Lions OC Ben Johnson today (Monday, 1/29) and Ravens DC Mike MacDonald Tuesday as will the Washington Commanders, in addition to Dan Quinn. Brady Henderson (in for Salk) and Brock dive into the problems each team faced this weekend before Brock's 'Blue 88' covering the future of Bobby Wagner. 

Maura & Justin handle hour 1 of the show by taking you Around the Weekend of the AFC/NFC Championship weekend and give the latest update on where the coaching carousel sits for the last two teams - Seahawks & Commanders - remaining without a HC. The Kraken get a bounceback win after Friday's loss and the Mariners are being linked to another pitcher.

Salk just learned from Gee in the last segment that college schools are asking everyone to pitch in for NIL money, not just rich boosters and he can't beleive it. He and Shannon Drayer discuss that further and then take your calls on the Mariners offseason and moves that could still be made. Plus, Shannon takes over Ranked!

Salk and Shannon get into a debate about the MLB Hall of Fame on who is deserving and why - but finally agree on one thing. Gee Scott makes his Friday appearance and the conversation turns into a deep dive of NIL, Jedd Fisch, Seahawks coaching search and much more - but leaving Salk quite upset. 

Mariners insider Shannon Drayer joins Salk for an extended Mariners conversation and the first topic of discussion is to give a grade to the Mariners offseason for both the organization as a whole and Jerry/Justin followed by a round of Rapid Fire M's questions. 

Salk opens the show with an old-man technology complaint that takes most of the first segment before getting back on track to the news that the Seahawks are one of the last 2 remaining teams without a head coach. We revisit the conversation with NFL draft scout Matt Miller (ESPN) who shares names that all Seahawks fans should hear. 

We play a little game of Which is Better? involving the Kelce brothers, the Commanders or Panthers and Maura or Justin? Then, we discuss the breaking news that Dave Canales has been named the new head coach of the Panthers. There are only three open head coaching vacancies left. How do you see this playing out? Plus, Justin and Salk have a massive list for you today in Ranked.

Salk spends the entire first segment describing something that happened to him which causes everybody else to feel grossed out. Brady & Salk are then joined by Matt Miller (ESPN NFL Draft Scout) to discuss how this '24 draft class looks at all position groups and lists a few names the Hawks should be looking to add. 

Brady Henderson (ESPN) joins Salk to discuss the coaching future of the Seahawks and how one very large date is looming for the organization and future leader. Could Geno Smith potentially be traded? We learn more about Tyler Lockett's future in Blue 88. 

Salk opens the show by reminding us how close we are to Spring Training and gives an early grade on the Mariners offseason for both the org as a whole and specifically for Jerry Dipoto's offseason. The Kraken end their losing streak and we revisit the KJ Wright Show.
