Monday Night Football didn't do the Seahawks any favors with their hopes of a top 3 draft pick as the Rams fall to the Packers, and Mike Lefko (in for Mike Salk) isn't feeling super confident based on the remaining schedule for those teams near the bottom of the Tankathon for draft picks. With Geno Smith’s rush totals removed, the Seahawks haven’t carried the ball more than 20 times in the past 5 games and haven’t had more than 87 ground yards. It was a pretty great sports weekend between two days of NFL games, the World Cup and college bowl games - many of which were held in freezing temps - leading Brock to tell the story of him freezing in Lambeau as a sleeveless, 3rd string rookie QB and how he rubbed Vaseline on himself to stay warm. Brock tweeted about the Mariners and got fans riled up about how the team needs to go from Good to Great and Lefko argues that the Mariners can’t accomplish that (or catch the Astros) in a single offseason.
