Congrats to Julio and Servais on being finalists for Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year, but what do you want the M's to do with Mitch Haniger? Brock asks the fans to text yes or no on whether they want to keep him and the answers were mostly No's. FOX NFL's Curt Menefee joins Brock & Salk and shares his perspective on Geno Smith's resurgence before Brock & Salk discuss Jim Irsay's hiring of interim head coach (and former player) Jeff Saturday and how it leads to the continued issues with the NFL's practices of hiring head coaches.

Brock says he's figured out the special sauce to the Seahawks success this season thus far and it all boils down to "time on task," and ultimately just doing the work. We further discuss the contrast of Green Bay being held hostage by Aaron Rodgers and struggling and the Seahawks finding success after moving on from Russ before Brock gives us some more insight on the QB wristband and why it might make a difference that Russ didn't want to use it. Brock's 'Blue 88' answers how Nwosu taken the next step, how OL Coach Dickerson done better than anything we’ve seen in SEA and what QB/Play Caller came to mind with Pete yesterday discussing Waldron/Geno.

Pete Carroll's comments on Geno wearing a wristband and the "resistance" to them in the past blew up yesterday and Salk wonders why Russ be opposed to that because it sure seems like it would have helped in some of those delay of game situations. Julio Rodriguez is a finalist for AL rookie of the year and Scott Servais is a finalist for AL manager of the year, Salk will be furious if they don't win. We revisit yesterday's Pete Carroll Show to hear more about the wristband drama and what has been making the Seahawks play so well together.

The amount of doubters that stood against the Seahawks at the beginning of the year have all turned around and apologized to Pete Carroll's Seahawks and both Brock & Salk agree that he deserves to be coach of the year and Schneider should be executive of the year, but how would this team look if Russ was still QB? Brock & Salk share their Seahawks Takeaways but Salk is still mad that he watched the entire game thinking they were going to lose.

Salk says this Seahawks season isn’t about what it used to be about and all of the 'big' questions have all been answered. The Seahawks are fourth in scoring across the entire NFL, the Rams are fourth WORST and Denver is 3rd worst. Geno continues to pass every test and showed he can bounce back after a disaster. Salk can’t get past the fact that he thinks Pete compromised more for Russ than he really wanted to. Brock's 'Blue 88' answers the questions: what did Shane Waldron do beautifully in this game, who is Kenneth Walker, and what Kliff Kingsbury has yet to figure out.

The Seahawks stick to their winning ways in the desert and take down Kyler Murray's Cardinals in dominant fashion and Salk is upset. Not because they won, but because he DVR'd the game and was duped into thinking the Seahawks actually lost. The Houston Astros are World Series champs and both UW and WSU get a win at home to round out the weekend. We listen to Pete Carroll's post-game press conference and Salk is taken by the fact that none of the players are playing the "nobody believed in us" card.

The M's will be involved in the free agent market but Salk thinks we shouldn't expect any of the top of the market guys after hearing from Dipoto yesterday. Then, we take your calls on extending Geno Smith, what to do about Jesse Winker and whether Shohei Ohtani is a trade option. Plus, Justin and Salk bring you a "blood moon" themed Ranked.

Salk asked this question on Twitter last night for fans to vote on if: Pete, John, Geno, Tariq or Ken should win their respective awards. Salk believes Pete & John deserve so much credit for putting this all together, but ultimately goes with Tariq and Pete. Salk shares his personal thoughts and insights on the conversation surrounding anti-semitism in sports and offers to extend the talk to anyone who wants to learn more.
