We've been meaning to do this segment for a couple weeks, but the Seahawks have forced it to happen now! Brock, Maura, Justin and Salk all admit and/or confess to something that they need to get off their conscience, but Salk's is just so bad that we can't let it go. We open the phone lines for Seahawks fans to call in with their own confession and the answers range from serious to totally insane.

It sounds insane to say in Week 1, but after 8 weeks of watching the Seahawks and Geno Smith... we legitimately have to ask the question if Geno Smith would deserve MVP votes. Brock's 'Blue 88' answers the questions: What’s been one of the most dramatic improvements Waldron/Geno's offfense, will the Seahawks make a move before the 4 pm ET trade deadline and what was the football theory Collinsworth brought up Sunday night actually makes sense?

Salk starts the show with his Halloween night recap and claims he ate less than 10 pieces of candy as the "dad tax" from his daughter's Halloween candy stash, but is mostly upset about one encounter with the scariest costume he's ever seen. We revisit the Pete Carroll Show from yesterday to hear how happy Pete sounds with what he's witnessed through 8 weeks of football and the way he's characterized Geno Smith's resurgence and says he's just "one of the guys."

There were some big moments yesterday that made both Brock & Salk pause with surprise and awe, but what was the most impressive things from the win? The biggest Takeaways include: Pete on fourth down, cornerback play (including Tariq being avoided all game), Lockett's redemption double-move TD, Boye Mafe’s coming out party and discovering a pass-rush rotation now with Irvin, Nwosu and Mafe.

If last week was a statement game for the Seahawks, this one proved that they are legit and they belong. Maybe they're not elite, but they are a team to be reckoned with and we should now hold them to a playoff expectation. Salk was impressed by how physical they looked with tackling, blocking, setting the edge. Lockett was having his worst game as a pro but they the trust shown was classic Pete Carroll football. Brock's 'Blue 88' answers what flipped for the defense, how the biggest match-ups worked out & what does the new FOX/ESPN Big 12 deal mean for the Pac 12?

Impressive win by the Seahawks taking down the 6-1 Giants and Salk says so much credit goes to Geno Smith who looked excellent, but everybody had a big impact in the 27-13 win and the defensive showed up big by stopping a holding Saquon Barkley to a season-low 53 yards. The XFL returns to Seattle and the newest head coach of the Seattle Sea Dragons - Jim Haslett - joins Salk to discuss this morning's news of the 2023 XFL season.

Pete Carroll was very proud of Geno Smith's performance and said his expectations for the QB are as high as anybody's in the league. Is the new expectation the playoffs? The Pete Carroll Show covers the coach's sideline gaffe of getting flagged for running into an official, the confidence of a defense that is much improved and how he sees Geno Smith's growth over the years.

Salk argues that the Astros didn't build their team by adding a lot of free agents. He says he's not suggesting that for the M's and they have already made some big acquisitions but you don't need to be the Yankees and just add to add. Then, we take your calls and bring you another edition of Ranked.

Our weekly visit with Joe Fann covers what can Seahawks accomplish this weekend? What's happening in the NFL this year and what are his new expectations for a surprising Seahawks team? Former NFL QB and 17-year veteran Rich Gannon joins Brock & Salk after all of the comparisons made (including from Pete Carroll) to Seahawks QB Geno Smith's career resurgence and Rich explains what it took for him to make a late surge and the kind of belief that goes into making those decisions.

The 6-1 Giants are headed to a very wet Seattle (that will also have some swirling winds) and it will be interesting to see how it affects both teams, but Brock and Salk are looking at how the Seahawks can stop the running game of the Giants. Gee Scott (Gee & Ursula, 97.3 KIRO) joins Brock & Salk a little early for his weekly Friday visit to discuss the ONE person that Russell Wilson is missing before Brock's 'Blue 88' answers: what has happened to WSU’s offense, what is the most important matchup on Sunday and how will weather affect the Seahawks/Giants on Sunday?
