The day has finally arrived and the Mariners playing a baseball game in the playoffs. Justin is excited that he'll be one of the in-stadium hosts for the game at T-Mobile Park, but Salk can hardly stand his giddiness over what happened on last night's Thursday Night Football game as Russell looked absolutely terrible in the 12-9 loss to the woeful Colts. The national voices that crushed Russ after the game are everywhere including Cowherd, Kyle Brandt, Richard Sherman and lots more. We revisit the conversation w/ ESPN's Jessica Mendoza who is calling the Mariners game tonight in Toronto.

Brock and Salk make some Mariners playoff predictions in Buy or Sell, talk Julio Rodriguez's authenticity, give Marco Gonzales credit for his selfless mentality yesterday and bring you another edition of Ranked.

ESPN's Jessica Mendoza will be calling the first Mariners / Blue Jays games this weekend and joins Brock & Salk to discuss the biggest storyline she will be following in the series, how do the Mariners win, and what will the environment be like in Toronto? Salk asks her to compare the raw stuff between Luis Castillo and Alec Manoah and she gets "nerdy" with her (fantastic) response. In place of Jerry Dipoto's usual show we play a game of "Which Mariner" and ask a variety of questions regarding the M's in the playoffs.

Salk is beside himself after seeing Julio Rodriguez address the Mariners fans yesterday following the Mariners game at T-Mobile Park because that's not something rookies typically do. Mariners Insider Shannon Drayer is fresh off the plane from her first post-season flight to Toronto and describes the scene in Canada and explain some of the upcoming roster choices. Brock's 'Blue 88' covers Clint Hurtt's defense, why KJ is most excited for the battle between Cam Jordan and Abe Lucas, and will we see more Neal?

Only one more sleep until we'll be watching the Mariners playing in the postseason and it barely feels real. We start the show with high praise for Marco Gonzales who was tasked with "emptying the tank" yesterday vs the Tigers to do his part saving the bullpen arms so they're fresh in Toronto. We revisit the KJ Wright Show from yesterday to listen to his insights on the Seahawks defense, why he's believed in Geno and how Pete Carroll motivates players.

M's pitcher Logan Gilbert joins Brock and Salk to discuss getting prepared for the post-season, his roommate Cal Raleigh being the hero of Friday night and what one word he would use to describe each of his fellow members of the starting rotation. Plus, Brock previews UW Arizona St in Washington Wednesday and another edition of Ranked.

The KJ Wright Show comes following the news of Geno Smith being named NFC Offensive Player of the Week and KJ explains to Salk why he believes Geno was capable of this and more, which leads Salk to ask why the Seahawks offense started working, how to handle a back like Penny, Pete Carroll on his challenges and timeouts and much, much more.

Salk can't let go of the idea that the M's should not play the final game of last night's double-header or today's final game vs the Tigers and Brock isn't having any of it. Geno Smith was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week and we are all blown away and wonder if he can continue his great play vs the Saints on Sunday. ESPN's Senior MLB Insider Jeff Passan is excited for the Mariners to be in the playoffs and explains how he thinks the M's can beat the Jays but says that stadium is electric.

Now that the playoff table has been set and we know the Mariners will be flying to Toronto Salk half-jokingly says he would forfeit the last two games just to keep our guys healthy, especially after seeing Dylan Moore & Jarred Kelenic get hit by pitches and foul balls of their feet. The conversation shifts to the starting pitching rotation for the playoffs and Salk takes calls from listeners on what they believe the M's should do starting Friday.

We take your calls on what you're most excited for when the M's begin their playoff series Friday. Then, we bring back an old favorite with Which is Better and a Ranked inspired by the anniversary of Van Halen's final show.
