In 2017, Loren High finally decided to move on from a relationship that was causing too many issues in his life. He and his ex-girlfriend, Porsche Humphrey, were finally going to have a conversation to settle their relationship once and for all on February 1st. On February 5th, Curtis Peterson, a friend of Loren's, decided to go look for him at his home since he hadn't been able to get get a hold of him in a couple of days, which was so unlike him. When Curtis managed to make it inside the home, he found Loren's lifeless body, from what he initially thought to be from suicide. When the police arrived, they would discover that not to be the case and Loren was murdered. Join us for today's case to learn about Loren and what happened to him. With that in mind, she decided to involve Regan Simmons in her diabolical plan to have a baby by taking Regan's and calling that baby her own. With a baby on hand and no signs of actually giving birth, police are onto Taylor and work to figure out whose baby it was. But that wouldn't take long as the body of Regan was soon discovered by her parents and now the police are left to put the pieces of what happened between Taylor and Regan. According to Taylor, she had previously suffered a miscarriage in 2019, so the couple was overjoyed that Taylor was pregnant for a second time, and things seemed to be progressing well.  At least, that's how it looked from the outside in, especially on social media, but in reality, everything was a lie. That was all Taylor did since meeting Wade. Among a lot of things, she lied about her parents, grandparents, money, and pregnancy. On December 19, 1979, Michelle Martinko made her way to Westdale Mall to purchase some things and chatted with friends and acquaintances while she was doing so. As the mall's closing time approached, Michelle decided it was time to head home so she left and made her way to her car. Sadly, she would never make it home. Michelle's body was found inside her car in the early hours of December 20th, still parked at the mall's parking lot. She had been brutally stabbed and cut. Her killer would not be brought to justice until 40 years later, and it was advances in DNA and the fight she put up that would finally make it happen. Seasoned basketball player Lorenzen Wright had just retired from the NBA in 2009 and divorced his wife, Sherra, in early 2010. The couple shared six children, so in the summer of that same year, Lorenzen flew to Memphis, Tennessee to spend time with his kids and his ex-wife, among other plans he had. On July 19th, a friend was supposed to pick him up but he was nowhere to be found. After news of his disappearance hit the media, a 911 dispatcher recalls receiving a phone call with gunshots in the background around the same time Lorenzen went missing. Amy Lynn Bradley was apprehensive to join her family on a week-long cruise since she was not a fan of open water and large ships but eventually agreed to go. On March 21, 1998, the ship set sail with Aruba being the first stop. Everything seemed to be going well until the early morning of March 24th, when Amy was nowhere to be found. Time was of the essence when trying to locate Amy since the ship had docked on the island of Curacao, and all the passengers were going to be getting off the ship. What was supposed to be a week of spending time with family turned into Bradley's family's worst nightmare, and that continues to be a reality to this day. On February 3, 2004, Jamie Gough accompanied a friend of his, Michael Hernandez, to the boy's restroom inside their middle school, and sadly, he would not make it out of there alive. Michael, who had been friends with Jamie for about a year, had been increasingly obsessing over the movie Silence of the Lambs and serial killers. So much so that he wanted to know what it felt like to be one. He concocted a plan on who his victims would be and how he would go about killing them. Michael would only kill one out of the three names he wrote down, Jamie Gough before he was caught. In 1901, Belle Gunness decided to relocate to a farm in La Porte, Indiana from Austin, Illinois. The year before, in 1900, her first husband, passed away, and after remarrying, it wouldn't be long before she became a widow for the second time. It seemed that death followed Belle, and it started to make the people in town believe that maybe, somehow, Belle had something to do with it.  The people in town always had suspicions, but it was never more than that until the body of a missing man named Andrew was discovered buried on the farm. But Andrew's body wouldn't be the only body found on the farm, and unfortunately, Belle would never be brought to justice because a fire burned down her home with her and her children in it. Donna Doll was known as a focused, intelligent, quiet young woman who attended Northern Illinois University in 1970. Donna was supposed to meet her friend, also named Donna, on Friday, October 2, but she never made it. Her body was discovered on October 11 a little over a mile from campus. Her cause of death seemed like suffocation, but no fibers were ever found in her lungs or fibers. Something else that was odd was that before her death, Donna had consumed about 5 or 6 pounds of potatoes. And till this day, no one was ever charged with her murder.
