I recently read Creativity Inc. by Ed Catmull, the President of PIXAR Animation and Disney Animation. This book’s subtitle says it all. “Overcoming the unseen forces that stand in the way of true inspiration.” 

One of the chapters of this book is titled “Honesty and Candor,” and it provides a detailed breakdown of how Candor can be more valuable than honesty and why.
