The 2019 Fiba World Cup Basketball Tournament is underway. The United States who are the reigning World Champions came into the tournament with a totally new look team as a lot of the NBA's top players opted not to play this year in order to focus on preserving themselves for the upcoming 2019/2020 NBA Season which promises to be on heck of a show. That opened up opportunities for several other players to jump on board and represent the USA and try to defend the World Title and prove it doesnt take all the NBA's top teams to win it all. The Boston Celtics had 4 players chosen to be on the USA Roster as Marcus Smart, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were chosen to join Derrick White, Myles Turner, Mason Plumlee, Donovan Mitchell, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Kyle Kuzma, Joe Harris, De'Aaron Fox and Harrison Barnes as the new version of Team USA. Team USA was put into a bracket with the Czech Republic, Turkey and Japan. Team USA in round 1 would face off with all 3 teams in 1 game a piece and the 2 teams with the top record amongst the 4 would move on to round 2 in the tournament. So how have the Celtics players faired in this competition through 3 games? Have we gotten a chance to see Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown all on the floor together at the same time? With San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Greg Poppovich leading things are we seeing a change in the mindset of Brown and Tatum when it comes to sharing the ball or are we seeing them dominate even in team USA ball? Have their been any suprises that the Celtics players have show us in the first 3 games? We will discuss that and take a closer look at what the 4 Boston Celtics have done through 3 games together as a part of TEAM USA. We will be joined by Rich A Jensen of RedsArmy.com and Kevin Dixon whos the Host of N the Zone Sports Talk Radio
