This episode kicks off Season 3 of the show! Since March 2019 when we launched we have had some truly exceptional change makers on the show, have been ranked in the Australian top 20 self-improvement podcasts, andfeatured on Apple podcasts New & Noteworthy more than 5 times.
The most important reward though from sharing this podcast are the messages that fill my inbox from listeners telling me that the interviews have led them on so many different tangents to explore further, and that the show has been a vital catalyst on their personal development journey.
I know how they feel, because I feel the same way about my own personal development journey, and the people who appear on this show have certainly led me to my own growth.
Today, I have a very special guest. Someone who is the closest to me in the world, and someone who over the last 3-4 years has had his own transformative personal development journey… my husband Charles Barone.
I felt nervous sharing his story (our story) as it is personal. But when we share and open up, others can find comfort in that, and perhaps it may help them in some way.
Over the last 22 years, Charles like many others, worked in the corporate world, dedicating his services to the property industry within Australia & SE Asia. Over the years, he found himself bitterly unhappy with his life, and as a result our marriage was crumbling. He made a conscious decision to get help, and over the past 3-4 years the changes in him have been exceptional, as he cleared old inner wounds and learnt to know himself on a deeper level. This ultimately saved our marriage. Today in this interview, he shares with us how he felt, the process it has taken him to find inner peace, the tools he has incorporated into his life and the consistency it has taken to see real change.
I should mention that as of late 2020 we have decided to make a move and relocate – so this podcast is now sharing stories of purpose, change, impact and wellbeing from the tropical island of Fiji.
