This week on Chicago Beer Pass, Brad Chmielewski & Nik White continue the 4th of July celebration by opening up some bottles of Scorched Earth Brewing Company’s Exiled Angel as they chat about their past week. Coming up this weekend are a couple fun festivals. In the city on Saturday, July 9th New Belgium Brewing presents the 2016 Tour de Fat Chicago at Palmer Square. Curt joins them to talk about his journey into craft beer as well as the excitement surrounding Chicago Craft Beer Week. One of the events that Brew Fest Partners is organizing for Chicago Craft Beer Week is the Navy Pier Brew Cruise on May 22nd. This brew cruise features only brewers from the west suburbs. Although we don’t have many events happening there is a new brewery opening in the West Loop, just blocks from Haymarket. On May 5th, Chef Rick Bayless will be opening Cruz Blanca Cervecería.
