066: Hello listeners. This week I am having a conversation with Francesca Collins. She’s a homesteader who lives in a 400 sq ft home with her special needs daughter, Emery and husband.
Francesca shares how she’s been listening to the podcast from the beginning and I’m so glad she reached out to be to be on it. Her favorite saying is “choose your hard” and I love that. Sometimes as special needs moms, all the options are hard and you just have to choose which one you’d rather do.
Francesca lives in a remote area, hours away from therapies and appointments and she shares how she’s learned to do these things and incorporates the therapies into their daily routine to help her daughter while saving precious time. She has hopes that one day Emery will be able to run around the farm and interact in their hands on life style. Until then, Francesca says she will take the progress they get and try to enjoy the moments and experiences with her little family.
