When it comes to service for Christians, it can often be paralyzing becasue we do not know what to do or how to do it. We often overthink this part of our faith. Today, we discuss how to put your faith into action and to do it where you are. 

What does it mean to be a responsible steward? How can we make a difference in the world in which we live? Today’s guest, Benny Braden was hiking near his home in eastern Tennessee and he began to notice trash along the trails, and he began picking the trash up. In some places the trash was immense. Left over tents, beer cans, food packaging, and more were littered everywhere.

Taking it upon himself, he began a campaign of cleaning up our public lands. And “Responsible Stewardship” was founded. A non-profit organization that works to keep our public lands clean and trash free.

Benny, is also a PTSD survivor and a follower of Christ. In this show we discuss his hikes across the globe and how Responsible Stewardship came into being as well has his personal faith journey.

How much money do you make?  How much do you weigh? What did you pay for your car? Do you tithe? 

Many of us find these questions offensive and in some ways they are. Except for the last one...the rest are non of my business, and are on some level offensive. But God doesnt ask any of te others, but he does as for our Tithe. 10% of your gross income. 

Why are we so quick to give out 20% of the cost of a meal to a server but reluctant to give God 10% of our income? This and other things we discuss today as we loo into what God expects of us. 

Remember God can do more with 90% than you can with 100%....

What moves you? What is it in your life that moves your soul and compels you to do something and work to make a difference? For Sue Tidwell it was when she accompanied her husband on a safari to Tanzania. As a non-hunter herself, she saw the passion of her husband and as she says in her book, "when you love someone, their dream becomes your dream." 

Together they flew to Tanzania so Rick could pursue his dream of hunting Africa. What happened on this trip changed Sue profoundly. We are all familure with the military term "About Face" to turn around, to change your direction and alter your intention. This is what Repentance is. The bible tells us over and over that we are to repent! "Unless you repent you will not see the kingdom of God." But what does this really mean?

Today we look at the importance of repentance and how to go about it. How to change our direction, and alter our intentions.

For those of us who live in the east, that includes birds such as pheasants, spruce grouse, ruffed grouse, valley quail, gambrels quail, California quail and chucker. 

THis variety of game birds allows Gavin to travel all through the west chasing different birds in a variety of terrain with his German Shorthair dogs.

There is little question that God allows peoples paths to cross at the right time in our lives. Their story of how they came to Christ, and their company is one that you do not want to miss. This show moved me in so many ways. As we talked, I could feel the presence of God with us and we felt the holy Spirit moving.
