This week on the podcast, I am joined by Asa from Be Queerful. Asa strives for a world without shame and gives online yoga to people of any gender, sexuality, colour and size at Europe's first LGBTQ+ yoga business Be Queerful. Having lived and studied in The Netherlands, the UK, Japan, Belgium and even the city of Boston, while teaching yoga in English, Dutch and Japanese at 10+ studios, Asa uses these experiences to educate and inspire others to be curious, cheerful and confident.
In this episode, Asa and I discuss the importance of creating inclusive and diverse yoga spaces, and how we get started doing that. Asa gives some great tips and pieces of advice for how to truly be an ally in your yoga space and create a space where anyone feels welcome.
Enjoy!
