Creator Money Week Day 4: Your Revenue Streams

The purpose of Creator Money Week is to set influencers/content creators up to be paid. We’re spending the entire week talking about money as creators. And today, we’re talking about figuring out your income streams as a creator.

If you’ve been following along Creator Money Week and you’re asking how to make money online, this specific day is dedicated to you. 

 We’re breaking down revenue streams you can explore as a creator. It’s important to keep in mind that not every revenue stream makes sense for everybody. Some influencers will find affiliate links drives their income while others will find selling presets does it for them. 

 Each creator should research and evaluate each revenue stream to make sure it’s aligned with their brand and their audience. Just because one content creator decides to sell t-shirts doesn’t mean another influencer should do the same thing.

Here are 6 revenue streams to explore as a creator:

 1. Brand Partnerships

Brands hire content creators to produce short form/long-form videos, photos, and copy (written work) and post on their social channels. Brand partnerships can be both short term (one month long) and long term campaigns (3months-12months).

  2. Content Creation (no posting requirements for your personal channels)

Brands can also hire creators to shoot and produce content for the brands’ websites, emails, and own social channels. There are opportunities where influencers will shoot projects for brands but are not required to post in their personal social channels. As a creator, you could price per image or per video you produce for your brand partners.
