When Paul Berkley came home for Christmas break from his deployment in the Middle East, he expected to be welcomed back with open arms. Instead, his wife, Monique Berkley, had something else up her sleeve. While away, Monique had become a little too cozy with some much younger boys, and the three of them concocted a plan to get rid of Paul but make out with his life insurance policy.  A tale as old as time.

When fire fighters were called to Herrod Road in Courtland, Mississippi to extinguish a car that was engulfed in flames, they were met with a 19-year-old woman who emerged from the woods. This woman was identified as Jessica Chambers and she was left in only her underwear as the rest of her clothes had been incinerated from the flames. Jessica passed away the following morning, but who set her on fire is still a mystery.

At the bar Lauren met a 28-year-old bouncer named Shawn Fields, and the two quickly hit it off and began dating. What Lauren would later learn about her new boyfriend was much more frightening, dangerous and violent than she could've ever imagined. When Lauren tried to break off her relationship, University of Utah campus police failed her, ultimately leading to her death.

There were no signs of forced entry, the victim profiles were drastically different and the cause of death began to vary. This week we talk through the 'Pizza Murders' which captivated the world's attention in 1997. Two cheese pizzas were ordered by phone for delivery to 196 Scott Road in Franklin, New Jersey. 22-year-old Jeremy Giordano and 24-year-old Giorgio Galleria set out around 10:30 pm to do the delivery. As the made their way down the dark, desolate road, houses began to disappear and they drove into nothing. When they arrived at 196 Scott Road, no lights were on, the house was falling apart, and it seemed as though no one had tended to the home in decades. It was then that two figures emerged from the front steps and made their way towards the car.
