Duane from Dad Surviving Divorce is here today discussing coparenting with a toxic ex and offering device on how to divorce a narcissist when you have children involved - as well as how to make sure your kids stay emotionally healthy during and after the divorce.

Duane says he started his YouTube channel to help survivors of narcissistic abuse back in May of last year. He survived a 22-year marriage to a narcissitic female. He has three kids with his abuser and has described his toxic relationship as "a nightmare." Thanks to a strong core group of friends and his own determination, he survived the divorce and continues to co-parent with the narcissist.

In DSD's case, it appears that he is coparenting with a covert narcissist.

He tells me that, in his job, he does a lot of one-on-one mentoring so he started his channel to help other people who have been thru the same kind of hell as he has - and he noted that he understood people could break under the pressure of a toxic relationship, so he wanted to provide a place to talk about it from the "divorced with kids" perspective. He had followed various YouTubers, including Richard Grannon, but could only find "non parents" out there at the time - he wanted to give back

wanted to make something positive out of his experiences.

In our interview today, Duane shares his advice for co-parenting and parallel parenting with a narcissist, as well as a few tips on divorcing a narcissist when kids are involved.
