Danny Wallace's Important Broadcast

We all remember that don't we? Popping round on the trick or treat circuit and giving Lee Evans' house a knock...? Maybe not. Plus, unbelievable phone-based rudeness in The Great Leader's life and that pesky snake from the bible.

Thank you.

This week, producer of the show - Sloppy Joe Attewell - was off with ‘bowel issues’ and so Mr Harold once again stepped up to the plate in his absence. Fear not, Dinner Winner was still played (albeit in a friendly), we still told you some things that you don’t know, and we still prepared you with some small talk for that moment when you get asked ‘What is going on eh??’.

246 full, enriching episodes of The Important Broadcast, eh? Imagine what you've learned! Imagine the person that you might have been, had you not chosen this path. Anyway... This week, you must prepare yourself for talk of possessed dogs, slain pigeons and whether or not everything (or nothing) is on 'the table'.

Hey Danny listeners, we have a podcast we think you'd like !

Back Then When is a brand-new podcast hosted by Keith Lemon and Lucie Cave. In each episode, BAFTA winning TV host and comedian Keith, and award-winning editor and presenter Lucie, are transported back through time... on a bonkers ‘do-you-remember-when-THAT-happened?!’ trip down pop and TV memory lane. Their visits through the decades take them on a nostalgic, mad-cap journey through a time when things were simpler and more fun… like when Peter Andre wrote a song called “Insania” and Posh and Becks got married on purple thrones.

Steve returned from his US excursion with tales of many things. The Great Leader himself carried a heavy cold, but this did not impede his brilliance. There were also mentions of the Swiss Airforce aerobatics team, piglets and Barack Obama.

With Steve attending a Stateside wedding, to which he wasn't invited, it was up to The Great Leader to pull an even greater weight than the enormous one he usually bears. Nonetheless, there was still plenty of room for talk of wombats, numbats, moles, beavers, yoghurt, limes and Anglo-Saxon huts.

Steve revealed an unexpected ambition this week, much to the amusement of his colleagues. There was talk of frightening tech mysteries, monsters, trains from Billericay and some homework that The Great Leader ended up doing for nothing.

Sloppy Joe was away this week but that did not phase the Great Leader one bit as he held the show together masterfully despite Steve and Mr Harold's(The cover producer) best efforts to unsettle him. Also in this week's show, we equip you with what to say now that the kids are back to school.
