Danny Wallace's Important Broadcast

Hello and Get Into The Music to you! This week, in the absence of Iconic Producer Joe Attewell, Producer's Travis and Alternative Joe joined the Important Broadcast Squad. You can expect to find out about Steve's new 'inventions', what Danny and Steve's finishing moves would be if they were wrestlers and you'll even hear an alternative to Dinner Winner. Get your listener pads open, there are a lot of notes to be taken!

The Great Leader was buoyant this week upon Steve's return. You may recall that Steve celebrated a stag do in Dorking last weekend: Just WAIT until you hear how well the sports day went! On this episode, you can expect bird-attacks, Love Island (no good if you actually watch it) and a full-blown LIE in the midst of Dinner Winner!

You've got the whole world to choose from... Where are you going to book a stag do? Dorking, of course. Steve was absent this week as he took in the sights and smells of Dorking. Meanwhile, The Great Leader was thrilled to have an insight into the various listener chambers; but do you REALLY listen in a cave??? There's also an orange seagull, a couple of Senior Listeners make an appearance and Google translate lets itself down.

For the sake of clarity - the first "pasty" in the title is pronounced PAYSTEE and the second is pronounced PASTEE. Glad we cleared that up. Welcome to Module 78 of The Important Broadcast. Topics covered this week included chickens in Jersey, a Walmart cake and the return of an old nemesis. You can also expect some more ridiculous reviews in X-Rated!

What sort of person uses a spoon for Marmite? This week's podcast will answer that question, and so many more. The Great Leader spake of many things this week: Not least a driving test centre, paragliding and the last time he saw Noel Gallagher.

If you hadn't heard of a pig pluck before, then now is the time to start listening. The Great Leader tackled the issue of 'compliance' this week and did so with great aplomb. You can also expect a run down of the nation's breakfast, a touch upon Nazi Jazz and a few reviews about a power station.

You could never conclude that The Important Broadcast is one to pass you by without controversy. The Great Leader loves it: Every Sunday he arises from his slumber and bathes in a vat of liquid controversy, before setting off for the broadcast. This week, you can expect a story about a monkey, a new X-Rated feature (not saucy) and a deeper look into Steve's dreams (not saucy*).

By all means announce your candidacy for a political party. Everyone else is doing it. But don’t, for goodness sake, try to usurp The Great Leader. He hates it when people do that. This week’s episode will bring you a night out with Chris Moyles & Johnny Vaughan, a pesky crow and sexy puffin. That’ll be plenty.

Greetings Dan Fans. This week The Important Broadcast Podcast had an air of silliness. A giddiness if you will. It'll make you feel as though you just stepped off the tea-cups and ate several donuts in quick succession. Or not.

What you can expect involves a daring seagull, a Kruise holiday (yes that's "Kruise" and not "Cruise") and a meat face. There's also a brief stop at the David Hasselhoff museum.

Steve Ferdinando: Always hiding his light under a bushell. Once you know what his job really is, you'll never think of him in the same way again.

This week, you can expect ducks, a LOT of salmon and a very serious question about what year it is. There's also a "group" discussion and another thrilling match in the Dinner Winner season.
