She slid into Today FM headquarters to take on Dermot and Dave's #AskMeAnything.
Listeners have questions like, "How do you get into ice skating in a country like Ireland?" and "What’s the one thing that amateurs do when they’re skating that makes them fall?".

The Graham Norton Show - Tonight @10:35pm on BBC One
The Cork man has a boring line-up yet again, NOT. And Harry Styles performs his brand new track Adore You.

  • Dermot Kennedy Announces More Irish Gigs For Summer 2020
And is seeking divine inspiration from another powerhouse in Irish music ahead of his 3Arena shows
In what has been a sensational year for the Dublin singer, Dermot Kennedy has just announced more Irish dates for summer 2020.
I’m announcing more Irish dates in 2020!! I'll be hitting up Killarney and since Dublin sold out so fast we’re doing another show in June- tickets on sale next Friday 13 December at 9am local time. I’m so glad we can make this happen! See you there! X. pic.twitter.com/BKcxDHFas5
    — Dermot Kennedy (@DermotKennedy) December 6, 2019
Speaking on Today FM's Dermot and Dave, Kennedy reveals why he felt compelled to please fans; "considering the first few [gigs] that we're doing next summer sold out so fast, we really wanted to figure something out and play for more people".
"I'm delighted to be honest coz like it's been a while of us just playing gigs in Dublin so it's nice to get around the country", he added.
Dermot plays two more sold out gigs in Dublin's 3Arena this December 22nd & 23rd, so the lads wanted to know how he was prepping for the enormity of them both, to which he replies; "it's gonna be my first time playing an actual full arena so I was thinking of maybe texting sort of the likes of Hozier and just seeing if there's a different way to behave in those places".
You can also catch the 27-year-old belt out his lyrical poetry when he headlines the new Saltwater music festival in Westport, Co. Mayo over the June Bank Holiday weekend next year (May 29th - 31st).

  • The 2 Johnnies Make YouTube's Irish Hot List For 2019
Forget the county lads, ye're going global!
Tipperary's dynamic duo, Johnny B and Johnny Smacks - The 2 Johnnies - have had a massive year building up their brand.
The 2 Johnnies Podcast has been the most listened to podcast in Ireland for ages now, they've recently released a best-selling book and their online videos get millions of views. Not bad for a couple of messers.
They released the video to their GAA-inspired song 'Could Have Been County' back in April and it has since racked up nearly 700k views, making it the third most watched YouTube video in Ireland for 2019.
Johnny B chats to Dermot and Dave about yet another massive achievement and has a laugh about how their music video got the #3 spot in the 'non-music' section.
And if you thought 2019 was big, wait until you hear what they have in store for 2020:

  • Life Hack: The Simplest Way To Test If a Battery Is Dead
    The power of Dave's World
With Christmas nearly upon us, and the need for AA & AAA batteries at a high, Dave Moore wanted to teach us a no-fuss way of filtering through the duds.
It couldn't be easier - "empty batteries bounce and flat batteries don't". He's a clever spark is our Dave.
He also tells us why hummingbirds are sooo sweet and has big news about the blue whale.

  • Meet The Kerry Man Who Worked On The New Bond Movie
    The name's O'Driscoll, Cian O'Driscoll
Bond fans across the globe were shaken and stirred on Wednesday when the highly anticipated trailer for 'No Time To Die' dropped:
Dingle native Cian O'Driscoll was extra excited to watch this snippet of the 25th installment, as he was the"assistant transport captain" on the movie.
Today ends an amazing 9 months working on James Bond. Jamaica , Scotland and Italy. Excited for home now. pic.twitter.com/JVNNrw70IW
    — Cian O Driscoll (@cianodriscoll) September 27, 2019
Cian chats to Dermot and Dave about his background and how he got into the film industry, and reveals the logistics of such a project, saying;"days there's extras in I mean you could be talking well over a thousand people".
Seeing as the movie isn't out until April 2020, like all good secret agents, he's keeping pretty tight lipped about the plot.
Listener Séamus then gets involved with an interesting fact about Ian Fleming's suave character once visiting Shannon Airport.

  • Comedian Chris Kent's Breastfeeding Story Will Have You In Knots!
He's back in Ireland with a brand new comedy tour
Dermot and Dave last caught up with comedian Chris Kent at the end of 2018, but things have gotten a little bit busier for the Corkman since then.
Chris and his wife Niamh welcomed baby Evelyn into the world back in July, the perfect companion to their 3-and-a-half year-old-Jack.
He's loving fatherhood, but still cannot wrap his head around the whole breastfeeding-in-public movement. His hospital story is absolutely hilarious!
Kent also tells us why his son refers to himself as "Big boy irish", reveals how a "garment donkey" got him in trouble at home and why libraries "are not the sanctuaries they once were".
Chris kicks off the first show of his 20-date Christy Doesn't Live Here Tour on Clonakilty next February:

  • Listeners Share The Worst Christmas Presents They've Ever Received
Dermot and Dave hear some of the worst Christmas presents listeners have either given or received
One of the biggest lies you could ever repeat is "it's the thought that counts" - when it comes to presents, people want something relevant, useful and nice.
Dave Moore recently bought his wife a high tech bin (no seriously, he did) and people have been slating him about it ever since. To help take the heat off, Dave asked listeners for their "worst present" stories, and the public answered in their droves.
There's everything from a heart pressure monitor to tampons to the Child of Prague.
