Slay sister, slay!

Thankfully, in the year 2019, society is much more educated, open minded and accepting when it comes to the LGBT community but drag queens still cause some confusion amongst us all. Agreed?

Dermot and Dave invited the glamorous RuPaul Ryder to take part in #AskMeAnything to help give us some insight as to why life as a Queen is far from a drag.

RuPaul answers some queries about gender, where they get their clothes from and how they go about "taping their junk" (that's a listener's phrase - not mine). It's all about meat and two veg baby!

2012 was a massive year for the Irish football team and a very memorable year for this country in general.

Amidst the "tighten your belts" era, we needed something to transcend the doom and gloom and bring a bitta craic back about the place. Insert Euro 2012, where Ireland were competing in their first major championship in a decade.

How could anyone forget the madness over in Poland and they Ukraine?? The place was gone ape!

Well one of the most iconic images from that time was the 'Angela Merkel Thinks We're At Work' flag, which was created by Limerick legend Richie Tuohy and his band of UL brothers.

Seven years on and Richie has just signed a contract with a different German lady, his new bride Orlagh Eicholz.

We're a weird and wonderful little nation but leaving our undergarments on the top of an old hill may be a step too far.

People have been leaving their personal belongings on top of the Hill of Tara by tying them to "Wishing Trees".

And while that all seems like a laugh, there is in fact a serious impact on the trees.

John Farrelly from from Tara Skryne Preservation Group spoke to Dermot and Dave about why he is urging people to stop leaving their things on the trees.
