Death In Entertainment

It's been a tough week for Ashton Kutcher. On Thursday 9/7/23, his best friend Danny Masterson was sentence to 30 years to life in prison for sex crimes. The next day, character letters written to the judge asking for leniency when sentencing Masterson were made public. The most prominent supporters were none other than Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Hollywood power couple and both former co-stars of Masterson on That 70s Show. The public outcry was loud and forced them to issue an ill-received apology.

One of Masterson's victims, his former girlfriend Chrissie Bixler, was among the outraged after reading the gushing letters. She then dropped a bombshell on her Instagram story about the Hollywood Ripper case. Hear all about it on this jam-packed minisode of Death in Entertainment!

A young ingenue, a fast-rising actor, and a heinous serial killer. All 3 intersected on the night of February 21, 2001.

Once upon a time in a faraway land, where it’s flat and immense, and the heat is intense, a man named Walt Disney built a theme park. It’s a magical place where millions of people gather to hang out with Mickey Mouse and wait in long lines while gobbling down overpriced funnel cakes. They say it’s the happiest place on earth. Or is it?

There’s a myth that nobody dies at Disney World. Not only is that a bunch of horse pucky, but there’s actually been a high number of onsite fatalities through the years. Perhaps you would like to hear the tale? Ok. Proceed with caution. Because these are disturbing stories where there is no happily ever after. Consider this your "Tigger" warning. You’re now in the lightning lane for Death in Entertainment!
