Death In Entertainment

Storm Chasers was a popular show about, well, take a wild guess. Thrusting audiences into the eye of the storm, dozens of scientists, cameramen, producers and medical personnel, risked their lives over five seasons to bring us footage unable to be captured anywhere else. That was until the biggest tornado ever recorded took the lives of three team members: Tim Samaras, his son Paul, and Carl Young.

It's as thrilling as the hit movie Twister – except it's real!

Delphi, Indiana, a small, woodsy town north of Indianapolis, became the site of two of the most notorious murders of recent memory. Originally dubbed the Snapchat Murders, local teens Abby Williams and Liberty German caught their killer on video just before being lured to their deaths. So why did it take 5 years to figure out who was responsible?

In this episode, the guys go over every theory and, as a bonus, Kyle recounts his own experience visiting the murder scene. He was a stranger in a strange land. You have to hear his story to believe it. What happens in rural Indiana doesn't stay there anymore!

Fasten your seatbelts because Menendez Mania continues!  After months of living large, the brothers were finally arrested in 1990 and charged with the murder of their parents.  To quote the tagline for the TV movie: "Was it fear that made them kill or was it simply greed?"

The trial began in 1993 and became a media sensation when it was broadcast live on cable in the heyday of trash talk shows and tabloid television.  Erik and Lyle  Menendez became household names -- and national punchlines. Their public image of being spoiled rich brats would take a turn, however, when they revealed the dark secrets of their dad, Jose Menendez. They were the first huge True Crime story before True Crime was even a thing.

In this episode, we go over both trials (yes, there were two), what really happened on the night of the murders and all the recent developments in the case, including new evidence that could set them FREE! Hint: it involves Menudo.

What do The Cheesecake Factory, the movie Batman and a couple of shotguns have in common? All three of them are important details in this week's episode!

It was a crime that sent shock waves through Beverly Hills. On August 20, 1989, Jose Menendez, a wealthy movie mogul, and his wife Kitty were murdered in their million-dollar mansion. The killers? Their own sons, Erik and Lyle.  Were they bad seeds or was this a bad family?

In part one of our series, we dissect the madness of the Menendez family. It's a story of money, privilege and power -- and what happens when the American Dream turns into a Nightmare. There are details so insane you may not even believe them!

Welcome to the final chapter of the Freddie Mercury saga!

Throughout the 1970s, as Queen became the biggest band in the world, Mr. Mercury was having a good time and he didn’t want to stop at all. Then came the 1980s and a terrifying epidemic that would bring the party to a dead halt. Although under enormous pressure, Freddie wasn’t ready to bite the dust and he kept on fighting until the end. As they say in the business: the show must go on.
