It was hard to come away from watching Saturday's 30-3 loss with anything but frustration over the teams turnovers, injuries and penalties. However, as Pete Carroll pointed out in his own way that it was primarily Seahawks backups going up against the Broncos starters. However, the teams inability to convert on fourth down also helped allow Denver to pile on the points late in the game as well. One bright spot was running back DeeJay Dallas who also performed well on special teams. Rookie cornerback Tre Brown also had an opportunity to get work against the Broncos starters and wasn't targeted. Brown talked about his progression to this point of the preseason and how he's approaching the competition at roles on special teams.
