Secondary school basketball is on the rise.
Participation has jumped 61% since 2000, and if it keeps growing at its current rate it will be NZ's most-played sport in less than a year.
BBNZ CEO Dillion Boucher discusses the challenges created by the massive increase in popularity, and the reasons behind it.
“They are wanting to go out and try to get good at basketball because I think it's seen as a really cool sport," he told Piney.
