  • Ep. 88 – Christopher & Eric’s True Crime Movie Time featuring “Richard Jewell”
"Falsely Accused Month" concludes with the second in our latest "crime pairing", a lively discussion of the film, RICHARD JEWELL, a compelling biopic that covers the events of the 1996 Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta, the shocking event we served up in our previous episode. Richard Jewell was a determined security guard who went from hero to zero in the eyes of the media in no time flat. Who bears the ultimate responsibility for smearing his name? This controversial Clint Eastwood-directed film offers up some blunt answers. See if Christopher and Eric agree.

  • Ep. 87 – Christopher & Eric’s True Crime TV Club Serves Up “The Crimes That Changed Us: Atlanta Olympic Bombing”
"Falsely Accused Month" continues, as Christopher and Eric serve up the first in a "crime pairing", an episode of THE CRIMES THAT CHANGED US, Season 1, Episode 2, that takes us back to summer 1996. The eyes of the world were on Atlanta, Georgia where the Olympics were in full swing. When a set of pipe bombs detonated inside a crowded park, the man who discovered the bomb and rushed others to safety went from hero to zero in no time flat. Who bears the ultimate responsibility for the smearing of Richard Jewell? We'll have more on this question in our next episode, the second half of our crime pairing, when we bring you a True Crime Movie Time featuring the Clint Eastwood-directed film, RICHARD JEWELL.

  • Ep. 86 – Christopher & Eric’s True Crime TV Club Serves Up “20/20: Taken”
Christopher and Eric kick off "Falsely Accused Month" here at TDPS with this jaw-dropping tale of an incompetent police department more determined to control the news cycle than investigate the complex case at hand. From Season 43, Episode 27 of ABC’s 20/20, entitled "Taken", we bring you the terrifying and infuriating story of Aaron Quinn and Denise Huskins, a promising young Northern California couple who awake one night to find themselves in the midst of a living nightmare. In an instant, Denise is kidnapped by a band of terrifyingly skillful assailants with a disturbing list of demands. But when Aaron calls the Vallejo Police Department, the real nightmare begins.

  • Ep. 85 – It’s Your Show!
Why did Eric drop everything and move to England? Why won't Christopher go anywhere near a Ouija board? What does it take to get started in podcasting?  Christopher and Eric can run their mouths long after their legs tire out, but on this special episode, you got to send their mouths running in the directions of your choice. Plus, Christopher reveals a shocking instance of straight washing in a disturbing update of the case covered on our previous installment of Christopher & Eric's True Crime TV Club featured in Episode 84.

  • Ep. 84 – Christopher & Eric’s True Crime TV Club Serves Up “A Time To Kill: A Miami Murder Mystery”
Miami can be not-so-nice, so we'll say it thrice. The sunlit city isn't just the fictional home of The Golden Girls. It's also the home of alligator alley and some fairly nasty criminals who put its reptilian residents to diabolical use, and it's the destination for Christopher and Eric's July 4th installment of True Crime TV Club. In A TIME TO KILL, Season 1, Episode 5, entitled "A Miami Murder Mystery", we meet Henry Diaz, a handsome local businessman with a devoted wife, a perfect family and a secret that draws him into the shadows where the truth can kill.

  • Ep. 83 – Christopher & Eric’s True Crime TV Club Serves Up “Bridegroom”
There's no murder or kidnapping or child abduction in this installment of Christopher and Eric's True Crime TV Club, but BRIDEGROOM took Christopher and Eric's breath away just the same. It's 2011, and the Supreme Court's landmark gay marriage ruling is still two years away. When tragedy strikes the passionate relationship between Shane Crone and a young singer named Tom Bridegroom it's hard not to describe everything that follows as a crime. BRIDEGROOM offers up a harrowing tour of what life was like for struggling gay couples before marriage equality became the law of the land, and it's the perfect Pride Month history lesson and a poignant celebration of the anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling that led to marriage equality.

  • Ep. 82 – Daddy Issues
When Eric Shaw Quinn submitted his comedic novel about gay parenting to publishers in the 1990's, many were shocked. One editor dismissed SAY UNCLE by saying "You and I simply don't see the world in the same way, Mr. Quinn." Today, such words could get you cancelled and gay parenting has gained such wide acceptance as to be common place. But how much progress have we truly made when it comes to depictions of gay people on screen? To find some answers and with a nod to Father’s Day, Christopher and Eric looked to the recent film IDEAL HOME, in which stars Paul Rudd and Steve Coogan play a hilarious pair of reluctant gay dads. They're surprised and entertained by what they find and confident you will be too.

  • Ep. 81 – Big Gay Heroes
We asked, you answered. As Pride month continues here at The TDPS Network, we headed to The Dinner Party Show's Facebook page and asked you to tell us about your gay heroes. They could be living or dead, real or fictional, so long as they inspired you to be your most authentic self, regardless of your own sexual orientation. Christopher and Eric offer up their answers as well in this lively salute to the LGBT people who've made history a more a diverse and exciting place.

  • Ep. 80 – Christopher & Eric’s True Crime TV Club Serves Up “Murder In Cape Town: Who Killed Bruno Bronn?”
Christopher and Eric launch their Pride Month episodes with a True Crime TV Club dedicated to the slaying of a nightclub owner who helped found one of South Africa's most vibrant gay communities, serving up "Murder In Cape Town: Who Killed Bruno Bronn?" from the Real Stories You Tube Channel. When Bruno Bronn was found murdered by his housekeeper in 2012, his friends and co-workers were sent reeling. Meanwhile, the number one suspect strutted through town as if he didn't have a care in the world, even after he was arrested and charged. The result is a case that still raises questions about how we frame and honor the history of the gay community as well as the true motives and perpetrators of this tragic crime.
