Daniel introduces us to Periscope, a fab new tool from Twitter that enables you to broadcast video events live directly from your mobile. Not only do you now have the ability to stream live events, but you can also save the video to provide recordings of the events you cover. We also discuss similar app Meerkat, and some of the  opportunities,   implications and challenges that live streaming brings to those both covering and running live events and conferences.
