Alessandra Garcia Lorido, a curve model at IMG world wide and female activist. We speak about how she entered into the career of a curve model in college, how she learned to handle rejection at a young age, and how she balances the intensity of the modeling world with activities and relationships that ground her. Alessandra speaks openly about confidence, self-worth, and the not so glamorous parts of being a model. Many of us struggle with attaching our identity to our careers, yet Alessandra has not let modeling define her (even after 10 years). Her career has also allowed her to be a role model for young women who struggle with body positivity and she inspires countless of women every day utilizing her platform for good.
