It’s a big episode as Brett Griffin, T.J. Majors and Freddie Kraft return from Kentucky Speedway to break down the weekend of racing and talk to Super Bowl champion and new NASCAR fan Bernard Pollard. First, the spotting trio discusses Noah Gragson’s right hook on Harrison Burton, Brad Keselowski turning Jimmie Johnson on a late restart and how Cole Custer triumphed in a wild finish. Plus, they explain why Kentucky put on a terrible race, how the traction compound impacted the competition and NASCAR’s inconsistent caution calls. Then, Pollard joins the show and discusses how he became a NASCAR fan, what he has learned so far and how racing can compare to football. After an exciting Xfinity Series race on the IMS road course, the crew debates whether it’s time for the Cup cars to abandon the oval or if the Brickyard 400 is fixable for the premiere series. The Bristol All-Star Race will utilize the choose cone and the guys talk through how it will impact the event. After last week’s episode of the Dale Jr. Download with Australian Paul Morris, T.J. sets the record straight on his test in a V8 Supercar during a trip to Australia. Along with co-host Casey Boat and producer Jason Schultz, they cover Ryan Blaney wrecking Kyle Busch, Bubba Wallace’s near miss avoiding Ryan Preece’s spin and Clint Bowyer and Alex Bowman’s door-banging sprint to the finish. Sunday’s Xfinity Series race produced heated tempers and multiple intentional wrecks.
