Anything you can do, Tom and Julie can do it better. At least that's the theory we put to the test as the hosts of The George Lucas Talk Show-- George Lucas (Connor Ratliff), Watto (Griffin Newman), and Patrick Cotnoir-- join Double Threat for the first episode of The Nancy Meyers Talk Show hosted by Nancy Meyers (Julie) with co-host Nick Marshall from What Women Want (Tom) and producer Brett.

Settle in for a classic Tom & Julie episode featuring the queens of NYC public access television, Horowitz & Spector; the chaotic Handforth Parish Council on Zoom; a Danish children's cartoon about a middled aged man with a long prehensile penis; a button for couples who can't figure out how to synchronize their horniness; the return of the Milk and Cereal song; and Double Threat cryptocurrency! Plus Alec Baldwin steals a horse and returns to Twitter! Tom and Julie write each other's tombstones! The beef with George Lucas Talk Show heats up! Tom and Julie give an honest appraisal of Brett's Twitter presence! And a true story of duplicity and false identity from the Terlingua International Chili Championship! Also Howard Zinn's A People's History of McDonaldLand; Merchant & Ivory presents Remains of Filet; Mike Lindell, guerilla filmmaker; Whac-A-Mole goes to series; Julie guesses who's playing in the Super Bowl; Mr. Peanut dies again; and the fancy candy man shops at Walgreen's.

DOUBLE THREAT EROTIC FAN FICTION CONTEST:

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we challenge YOU to write your best DOUBLE THREAT EROTIC FAN FICTION! It’s the third Double Threat episode with a focus on chili and this time Tom and Julie are going ALL IN BABY! After last week’s embarrassing Jack Nicholson debacle, in which Tom mistook an Onion photoshop of Jack spilling chili on himself at a Lakers game for a real photo, Brett books four chili all stars, including the heads of the two major international chili societies and the author of a series of chili cook-off murder mysteries, for a journey to redeem chili from the stain of the scandal, to restore Tom's self-confidence, and to return order to the universe.

This episode's special guests are:

*Keith Karaff, Executive Director of Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI)

*Mike Watkins, Historian/Archivist of Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI)

*Mike McCloud, President of International Chili Society (ICS)

*Kylie Logan, Author of the Chili Cook-Off Mysteries series

Tom and Julie are joined by comedian/writer Keisha Zollar (Astronomy Club), tattoo artist Ella Sklaw, and a cavalcade of listeners for a deep dive into the world of tattoos! The panel designs Double Threat tattoos for listeners Steve and Iann, and they help listeners Meri, Brennan, and Kalee fix their regrettable tattoos. Plus Liam Neeson stars in Taken... a piss in his pants, that is! And Jack Nicholson's chili pants, Sinbad, Gad Lieutenant, Tom is still stuck in the Capitol, Jiminy Glick wants to know if Trump is good for comedy, Joe Biden's hair, Frank Zappa's version of Don't Stop Me Now, Julie's first date green bean material, Bernie meme, international soup month, and so much more!

Submit your art for the two Double Threat tattoos that Tom and Julie designed in this episode! Winning selections will be awarded a prize and may even end up on a living person's flesh for the remainder of their life!

TATTOO #1: Double Threat logo in the style of an old school Sailor Jerry or Mom tattoo. With banners that say "Double Threat" and "Tom & Julie."

TATTOO #2: Double Threat family crest that includes the following elements: Tom as a dog, Julie as a cat, Brett as a classy flea a la Mr. Peanut or Jiminy Cricket, crossed microphones, a glazed fish, chili fries, Jack Nicholson dipping a spoon into the chili, and a banner that reads "Let the Image Speak for Itself" in Latin. Plus any other assorted Double Threat elements.

Having recently been blocked by Alec Baldwin on Twitter, Tom and Julie are joined by frequently blocked comedian Andy Kindler and a panel of blocked-by-Baldwin listeners, including Variety editor-at-large Kate Aurthur, to discuss the experience of being blocked by the celebrity actor (best known for supporting roles in State and Main and the Mission: Impossible franchise) and to come to terms with their conflicted feelings about the experience. They also discuss Alec Baldwin's life, career, and innumerable scandals. Plus Producer Brett joins Twitter (@breyyyattt) and tries to get blocked by Baldwin in real time.
