Down Syndrome Awareness Day was on the 21st of March, just under 300 children are born in Australia every year with a triple 21st chromosome, this means they are classified as having Down syndrome. World Down syndrome day gives us the chance to recognise and celebrate the lives of people who live with one of our most recognised disabilities.
