Then, Greg Swan explains the internet to us.

Greg Swan is a Minneapolis-based marketing futurist, strategist, consultant, keynote speaker, writer and podcaster. He joins Jason DeRusha to talk about the impact of influencers descending on the State Fair. They talk about branding, what local/national influencers are walking around and the evolution of content creation with the fair.

Jeffrey Lunde is the Hennepin County Commissioner for District 1 in Hennepin County. He joins Jason to discuss the Metro Blue line to extend the light rail. There is a funding gap that needs to be closed before the long awaited construction begins. Commissioner Jeffrey Lunde details some of the struggles he’s facing and what he thinks the investment could bring to the community. Jason and Dan share their thoughts and apprehensions.

Randy Splett owns the new Minnesota's Original Apple Fries with his wife Myranda. Randy shares how their idea came to be and the people who helped them along the way. Randy also details some of the adversities the booth has faced so far and what prepared him for this experience/experiment. Jason shares his experience with trying the Apple Fries and what he’s seen online. Jason asks Randy’s son Hudson if he’s a bad person for jumping the line during his influencer hours. Randy speaks to the family environment and support amongst the vendors.
