Episode 12 - Dyslexia and Learning Another Language

I never thought that I could learn another language. I ALWAYS wanted to learn Spanish. I didn't think I would ever be able to becuase of my dyslexia.

When I learnt more about the kind of support I need, I was able to find a Spanish teacher who could help in the way I needed to learn.

Most importantly, I wasn't afaird to share what supported I needed. As soon as I was able to share this with my teacher she better understood how to adapt the lessons to best support me.

Know what support you need is the first step. Sharing that knowledge with those that can help you is next and often the hardest step.

I this episode share with you my story of finding the support I needed to achieve a life long ambition, which I hope will you with finding support to achieve anything you want to.
