EEC 164: Think Small, Win Big with Maceo Jourdan

Listen Later

Have you ever thought that thinking small was the path to growth? Dr. Katrina Burrus, MCC speaks with Maceo Jourdan on ways entrepreneurs can have a path of growth as they answer the following questions.

  • How did you come to be a venture capitalist?
  • Tell us about what you found important to make a sale?
  • What relevance does this have to coaching for change and selling to clients?
  • What do you mean when you say thinking small is the path to growth?
Who is Maceo Jourdan?

Maceo Jourdan is a serial entrepreneur with two decades of building businesses by creating great products and great marketing. His experience spans a wildly eclectic mix of practical real-world experience from the US Army to the cut-throat world of electronic trading. An early pioneer in computerized trading, Maceo built one of the earliest high-frequency trading systems for the S&P 500. When "pay per click" marketing platforms burst on the scene he translated his work into massively successful automated systems for Google and, later, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Maceo's expertise fits a wide range of audience interests from predicting future trends, growing and scaling businesses, how to get your company acquired and not get taken to the cleaners, marketing for the solo entrepreneur or the $100 million+ Goliath, to how to work from home and working at home with small kids and teens (at the same time). Maceo is a seasoned presenter and early pioneer in online video - shooting, editing, and producing a finished 30-60 minute video every day for nearly 4 years. He's coached and taught individuals and groups for over 30 years and has a knack for making complicated things simple by giving your listeners stories they will love, cherish and share.
