  • 3 ways to increase email open rates
Tracking your email’s open rates is a piece of data every online entrepreneur should do, and continually work on improving.

Why? Because small hinges swing big doors.

Meaning, you can increase eyes on your content with small, subtle changes. When you can increase your open rates it means more people open and consume your email.

And, energetically, if you’re going to be spending time on email marketing, don’t you want it to count?

So in this week’s 6-Figure Mompreneuer Podcast I’m diving into three ways that you can increase your email open rates.

  • Building a movement and a community around your brand featuring Mallika Malhotra
Mallika Malhotra is The Brand CEO, an award-winning branding expert, confidence-stirring mentor, dynamic speaker, and author.

For years, she worked in corporate advertising on big brands like L’Oreal, Oil of Olay, and Hidden Valley Ranch.

Now she helps women entrepreneurs master their message, stand out in their crowded market, and develop brands that are magnetic, memorable and money-making. Her friends and clients call her the brand energizer because she is a strong believer in getting out of your comfort zone, taking action and implementing ideas. When she's not building brands, she's at home in Maine with her three sons and husband, drinking coffee or red wine and dreaming about their next global adventure.

    TAKEAWAYS:

+ Branding is the reputation you have with your audience. It’s the words they use about your business when you’re not in the room.

+ Branding isn’t your logo, your colors, your fonts, your website, or your social media. They are expressions and demonstrations of your brand.

+ In a noisy marketplace, a brand is important because it increases the perceived value that you have. When you are clear with who you are and what you stand for, it makes the right people come to you, and they are excited to spend money with you. Which gives you a lot of pricing power!

+ When you have strong values, it makes it easier to create a community. And when you can create a community around your values, it creates loyal followers and clients. People want to align themselves with people who think, feel, and act similarly to how they do, so when you can offer that up, it makes your business about more than just your products or services.

  • How to create a morning routine as a busy mompreneur [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Before you roll your eyes at the topic of this episode and say, “I’m busy, I don’t have time for a morning routine!” hold the phone. I’m not about to share with you a morning routine that will require 3 hours from you each morning. No one has time for that! Especially during the Summer when kids are home and your schedule is unpredictable.

A morning routine can fast track your success in your business and at home, by helping you to see the bigger picture, attracting more of what is working into your life, and help you to set intentions in how you want to live your life, raise your kids, and run your business.

In short, a morning routine puts gasoline on the fire that is already burning inside of you and helps you to see the next logical steps for you, based on your goals.

So in this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I’m sharing:

+ tools you’ll need to make a morning routine a success for you as a busy mompreneur
+ why a morning routine can actually serve you and help you to get to your goals, faster
+ my morning routine framework and how you can make it your own

  • How to honor your season of life in your business [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Our season of life determines A LOT in terms of how we run our business.

I find that a lot of mompreneurs feel guilty or frustrated about how they work because they are comparing themselves to someone else who they see or know on the internet, who is in a very different season of life, have a different support network, and/or a different business model.

Honoring your season means that your business fits into your life, not vice versa. Because your business has to actually work for you. If it doesn’t work for you it won’t work for anyone else.

So when examining your business and mashing it up with your season of life, it’s important that you’re able to differentiate the “shoulds” from the “needs”.

In this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I’m sharing:

+ the four areas of your business that need to shift whenever you have a change in season
+ factors to think about to land on a method or business model that work better for you during that season
+ how to know if what you’re doing is a “should” or a need

  • How to replace you in your business [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Welcome back to another episode in the Summer Break-Proof Your Business Series here on the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast!

The goal of this podcast series is to help you not only survive the Summer, but to flourish this Summer at work and at home.

In this week’s episode I’m sharing how you can replace yourself in your business.

And I know, every time I say things like this, I get A LOT of push back. But here’s the thing, if you want to scale your business to 6-figures (and beyond) without working more hours, you have to find ways to leverage the time you do have, or replace you entirely.

In fact, YOU might be the bottleneck in your business if you’re not seeing the results you want to see, regardless if you realize it or not.

So in this week’s episode I’m sharing:

+ why you’re constantly trading time for money, or vice versa
+ how an email funnel could help you to get better results, with less work
+ funnel math and how to understand your numbers better

  • How to stop consuming free content [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Welcome back to another episode in the Summer Break-Proof Your Business Series here on the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast!

The goal of this podcast series is to help you not only survive the Summer, but to flourish this Summer at work and at home.

In this week’s episode I’m sharing more about how to get off of the free content consumption train, and into action that actually produces results in your business.

Oftentimes I find that when mompreneurs aren’t hitting their goals, it’s because they are consuming A LOT of free content. Now I’m not anti-free content (you’re consuming free content from me right now!), I’m anti-consumption without intention. Sometimes consuming free content can create bright shiny object syndrome, comparisonitis, and distractions that unnecessarily throw a wrench in our plans.

So in this week’s episode I’m sharing:

+ why you need to be intentional with consuming free content
+ how consuming free content can keep you stuck
+ and when is it a good choice to consume free content

  • How to set firm time boundaries [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Welcome back to another episode in the Summer Break-Proof Your Business Series here on the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast!

The goal of this podcast series is to help you not only survive the Summer, but to flourish this Summer at work and at home.

In this week’s episode I’m sharing the three areas that you need to establish firm time boundaries around, so that you can actually get work done this Summer.

And oftentimes, what I find with my clients, is that you’re not getting anything done because of guilt. Guilt manifests itself in such bizarre ways that you can start to self-sabotage, without really realizing that you are doing it.

So in this week’s episode I’m sharing:

+ the three places where you need to establish these boundaries
+ why we feel so much guilt around these areas
+ and how to break cycle of not getting anything done and honor your priorities

  • How to pay yourself more featuring Belinda Rosenblum [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Welcome to the fourth episode in our Summer Break-Proof Your Business Series here on the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast!

Through the Summer Break-Proof Your Business Series it is our goal to feature topics that are actionable, simple, and most importantly, designed to help you, as a busy mompreneur, enjoy the heck out of your Summer! We want to help you not only survive this Summer, but to help you thrive this Summer in business and at home.

In this week’s episode we’re chatting through how to pay yourself more with CPA and Profit Strategist Belinda Rosenblum.

Belinda helps busy female coaches and experts sustainably scale their revenue AND profits by upleveling their financial systems and strategies and stepping into the CEO role. She believes it’s time female entrepreneurs feel worthy and safe with money, finally enjoy the freedom they started their business for in the first place, AND consistently take home the money they want each month. (It is possible!)

    TAKEAWAYS:

+ We are not taught how to be a CEO in school, we’re taught how to be pemisssion-based employees! Operating your business from a place of a CEO requires different thoughts and actions than an employee.

+ Knowing your numbers is the first step to paying yourself more. This includes projecting how much money you’d like to bring into your family each month, what your business’s expenses are each month, and how much revenue that will require from your business. Once you know the revenue, you can start to reverse engineer a plan.

+ When it comes to taking action on your plan, it’s important to note how you’re doing the work. Is it in alignment with how you want to grow your business? Is it allowing you the freedom or flexibility you want? Does it seem like a good flow? As important as your goals are, the activity has to support your life.

  • How to batch your social media content [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Welcome back to another episode in the Summer Break-Proof Your Business Series here on the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast!

The goal of Summer Break-Proof Your Business Series is to help you not only survive this Summer, but to help you thrive this Summer in business and at home.

In this week’s episode we’re chatting through batching your social media content.

In this episode I’m not talking about your core content content (that’s episode 273’s topic, you can find that here: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode273), instead I’m diving into social media content.

Social media content is a bit different for everyone in that we all like to create and consume social media content differently. So in this episode I won’t be giving you a step-by-step process, like I did in episode 273. But what I want to do in this episode is help you come up with your own methodology for batching your social media content, that is sustainable.
