  • Is a group program your next smart move? featuring Jordan King
Discovering if a group program is your next smart move

Jordan Schanda King is a serial entrepreneur and expert at business optimization. Since starting her first business in 2013, she has published a book, founded and co-founded multiple businesses, developed and led group programs in three industries, filed copyrights on multiple products, and successfully sold a business.

Now Jordan runs a Contract COO agency, Easy Scaling, specializing in full business management for women who are scaling their service-based businesses. With an all-female team of VAs, OBMs, Copywriters, Marketers, Social Media Managers, and Tech Gurus, they help female founders scale without burning out so that they can build a sustainable business that they love.

She’s had to learn the hard way how to run a business that she actually enjoys and is excited to share her expertise with other women on this entrepreneurial journey!

    TAKEAWAYS:

+ Jordan is a fan of group programs for busy momprenuers. Group programs are the perfect combination of education, support, and peer accountability that many models (like courses or memberships) don’t have.

+ When it comes to creating passive income (through a course or a digital product), we can use our group program to inform the creation of the product. A group program is much more flexible in that you can co-create with your clients, and this activity can inform the creation of your course.

+ When creating your group program it’s important to know WHY you want to create a group program. What is the goal? How does the group program enhance your product suite? How is it helping you to move closer to your goals?

+ Two questions to ask yourself when writing your group program’s curriculum:
What’s the #1 thing you want your clients to achieve?
What do they need to learn in order to get to the achievement?

  • 4 places to sell in the top of your funnel
You absolutely DO NOT have to wait until the pitch sequence to sell to your leads inside of an email funnel.

While selling in the pitch sequence is the big picture goal (and usually what we focus most of our time and efforts on) when it comes to selling inside of an email funnel, the idea of selling early on serves both you and your new lead.

It may feel a bit counterintuitive to pitch early on in the funnel, but when you can serve someone with an offer in the beginning of your relationship, it creates a stronger know, like, and trust factor, and a loyal, life-long client who will buy over and over again, who tells their friends about how you’ve helped them!

So in this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I’m sharing 4 places where you can sell in the top of your email funnel to create a stronger know, like, and trust factor…fast!

  • Using collaboration for lead generation featuring Lynn Neville
Lynn Neville is the creator of the 6-Figure Biz Content Club and the IMPACT formula and she helps online coaches and business owners build engaged audiences of loyal followers who want to hear from them, buy their products, and become clients! With 20+ years of business and marketing experience, Lynn has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs to grow and scale their businesses.

    TAKEAWAYS:

+Lynn’s super power in her business is her creativity. It is fueled by her desire to always be learning in her business and personal life. But it’s her efficiency that allows her to harness her creativity and leverage it as her super power.

+Events like giveaways, summits, bundle sales, and collaborations are great ways to generate high quality leads built on trust between the collaborator and their audience. Lynn is a huge believer in aligning yourself with like-minded, complimentary businesses, to serve your respective audiences with resources that can help them to get better results and move faster out of their pain point.

+Lynn’s best tip for being invited to events like summits, giveaways, bundle sales, and/or collaborations is to be a real person. Behind these screens we’re all humans, dealing with very similar things. Be a friend, come from a place of service, and ask them to be included in their event. No progress ever came from comfort zones!

  • Choosing what to do (or not to do) in your business
You hear in the online space that you don’t have to do anything that you don’t want to. That you make the rules and that as the head of your business, you get to do things your way.

Heck you’re probably heard me say this on more than one occasion!

    And that’s incredibly true.

But what I think that we often forget, is that while we can do anything we want in our business, there are consequences for our choices.

So in this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I want to chat through some ideas to help understand the vital components of marketing your business, and to help you make some educated decisions around what you actually want to do in your business, and the outcomes of those choices.

  • Navigating CEO-level decisions featuring Rebecca Muriuki
Rebecca Muriuki is a CEO coach who helps women expand into their full potential and stand out as leaders in their field.

Rebecca has helped women become CEOs through effective planning and execution while creating more white space for them to thrive, without sacrificing the things that matter the most to them.

Rebecca, a mom of 3 including twins, runs her online business alongside her high-pressure corporate job in the largest global audit firm. As a leader in her corporate role, Rebecca leverages her experience to help other women confidently show up as inspirational leaders for their teams while navigating the challenges of being underrepresented as women in their industry.

    TAKEAWAYS:

+ One of the biggest mistakes Rebecca sees mompreneurs make when making decisions is making decisions that keep them small. Most of us have big goals, but our actions and decisions don’t match up to those goals. So we make decisions and take action from the place where we are now, when what really needs to happen is we make decisions from our future self, so that we can accomplish those goals to actually see our future self come into fruition.

+ When navigating making decisions that you’ve never had to make before, look at people who have come before you in your field OR seek out people you admire. What did they do when they came up against adversity? How did they navigate what you’re navigating? And consider these people to be your “Board of Directors”. What would they say? How would they act? What advice would they give you?

+ “Consistency always trumps trying to climb up the mountain in one day.” Rebecca says that as women, we tend to lean into perfectionist tendencies. Those tendencies keep us stuck, we don’t follow through, and then we don’t hit our goals and we break the promises we make to ourselves. Start to prove to yourself that you can produce results by being consistent with what you say you’re going to do.

  • Tackling your never-ending to-do list
Do you end the day feeling like you didn’t actually accomplish anything, but you were busy all day long?

I get it. My calendar used to be a jumbled mess of appointments, client calls, and activities that left me feeling drained and with little to show for it at the end of the day.

I was working, but I wasn’t actually doing anything with that time.

I see this a lot, mompreneurs busy with all the wrong things.

So today, in this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast, I want to share two things to help you stop the never-ending cycle of a way too long to-do list, so that you can actually get the stuff done that matters, and end your day feeling accomplished.

  • Adding in a podcast to generate leads featuring Haili Murch
Haili Murch is a podcast connoisseur who helps launch and manage podcasts, while teaching women how to start their own podcast management businesses.

She saw that podcasting was growing and not going anywhere and that entrepreneurs needed her services. She has worked 50+ different podcasts now and is continually amazed with the variety of podcasts and the value they bring to their listeners and their businesses. She helps podcasters by helping them launch their podcast and also managing them on a regular basis. She has also created a course called "How to Become a Podcast Manager" to educate on how to niche down and create a side hustle managing podcasts.

She is married and mom to two boys. She loves to travel, write music, and try new foods!

    TAKEAWAYS:

+ Haili’s super power is connection. As a podcast manager and host, her personality lends itself to talking with people, and learning more about them as an individual, and what makes them tick.

+ You’re ready for a podcast when you have a strong purpose behind your podcast. It can be personal and business related, but there should be an intention, focus, and willingness to do the work and to commit for the long-term. Conversely, you’re not ready for a podcast if you know it’s a good idea for visibility, and you view it as just another step. There needs to be some passion behind your podcast!

+ A podcast creates a different platform, method, and delivery of your core content, which can be extremely beneficial for growing an audience.

+ Outsourcing your podcast can save your time (and your time is money), it allows the expert to apply their expertise to your podcast, creates space for you to focus more on the content in your episodes, and allows you to stay in your zone of genius more.

  • Factors that might be contributing to feast or famine months
Feast or famine months can make it HARD to run your business.

If your cash influx is drastically different from one month to the next, it can be really hard to invest, hire a team, and/or pay yourself because you don’t know where your next dollar is going to come from.

So if you’re experiencing feast or famine months I want you to know two things:

    1. It’s normal.
    2. You gotta get out of it ASAP. Your foundation is rocky and no one can build on a rocky foundation.
    3. It’s a symptom of growth. So it can be a really good indicator of the trajectory of your business.

In this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I’m sharing four factors that might be contributing to your feast or famine months to help you diagnose and get out of them, ASAP. So let’s dig in!
