Yurii Kechur, a Lviv native who moved to Munich to pursue his medical studies years ago, shares his insights on the pervasive fear of war that resonates among both politicians and segments of society. This anxiety not only hampers the flow of aid but also serves as a breeding ground for populism and extremism during political campaigns.

Yurii has taken significant steps to address these issues through initiative, that he co-founded “MUcraine,” a social media platform designed to inform both Germans and Ukrainians about current events in Ukraine and clarify complex political developments. In his conversation with Rihards Plūme, Yurii recounts his experiences and the importance of fostering understanding amidst challenging times.
