• In partnerships, it’s often the entrepreneur who’s more creative that has trouble leveraging, as it can be more difficult to hand off tasks on the creative side.
• Financial freedom is best typified by the statement that 100% or more of your outgoings are paid for by income that you do not have to go and do anything on a daily basis in order to earn. This is known as a horizontal income stream.
• To create financial freedom, you must first perform as assessment of where you are. Work out your net income. 50% of your net income should be used for necessities (mortgage, bills etc). Split your remaining income in 10% chunks between five “accounts”:

  • Contingency
  • Contributions
  • Play
  • Education and personal development

• The biggest issue with any type of scale is the nuances caused by people coming together. All partnerships face the risk of these nuances not working.
